Liked: great location

Disliked: no security, no lockers. very few person/bathroom ratio. only 2 showers in one of their apartment complexes, when there were probably about 30 people staying. ridiculous

Liked: It was a fun place to stay, even if I missed my bus on the morning I wanted to leave, because of a fun drinking night with the staff and other great people from the hostel. Atmosphere was great. Security is not that good, no lockers, nothing. So you need to have trustworthy people in your room, which to myself ever happened! Great place to stay, definitely would come back!!!!

Liked: I really enjoyed my stay at urban house. The hostel is in a great location, 5 minutes from the beach and is in the heart of the old town. The staff are very friendly and helpful

Liked: One of the best hostels I've ever been to. I usually don't rate hostels but I had such a great time here I'm making an exception. The staff were really friendly and the hostel couldn't have been better located. The hostel organised pub crawl was great as well... I don't wear the shirt but its attached to my backpack like a badge. Definitely recommended.

Liked: First impression: the staff are really great! They gave us lots of information on where to go and what to do around the city. The atmosphere of the hostel was also lots of fun - the greeting, the other guests, ... It's a short bus trip or a 30 minute walk from the bus and train stations, but once you are there you are in the heart of the town, on the boulevard - 2 minutes walk from the beach, 15 from the cathedral and right in the middle of the restaurants and pintxo bars.If you plan to use the lockers in the shared rooms, bring your own padlock, as there are none, but we had no problem leaving our stuff.

Liked: The location was GREAT!!! (though it does suck that you have to check in at one place and then walk several blocks to where you stay). The staff was ok...it was often hard to tell who was staff and who were backpackers but after awhiled they warmed up and were really helpful. The rooms were just fine (though the bunk beds were low aka you couldn't sit up on the bunk) and the only other place to sit was in the kitchen which was quite small (no lounge). The bathrooms were plentiful and they even had a couple shower/bathroom combos for one person at a time aka lots of room and privacy (no need to jostle and jiggle your way into your clothes while trying to keep your tiny travel towel around you :P) The kitchen was good and lots of free food so that was cool, the wifi was...sketch at best. They were painting while we were there with some seriously toxic smelling paint. But like I said, the location was amazing!!!! Huge windows to look out and we were right in the middle of a wonderful shopping area, steps from the old part of town, steps from the beach, steps to the jesus on the hill (you'll see).

Liked: I liked the 4 dorm room and the kitchen facilities. Breakfast was included and quite generous. I liked the location and the laid back atmosphere as well as the free internet.

Liked: We had booked a twin double room at Urban House but were relocated to a nearby Pension (Pension Kaia) and had our room upgraded at no cost to ourselves, which was brilliant. The staff at Urban House were extremely friendly and helpful, offering advice and suggestions on places to visit, where to eat etc, and even providing a phone number to call for help if needed. Pension Kaia was a nice, quiet place in the alleyways of the old city. The front room (facing onto the alleyway) is brilliant- definitely ask for it if you can! Excellent location, clean private bathroom and an excellent rate. Highly recommended.

Liked: Great friendly hostel if you stay in main building where reception is (called Lolo) but not so much if you get shipped off to one of the annexes across the street. Fantastic location right on main boulevard, one block from beach and old town. Kitchen for guests' use and rooms were clean. Downsides: bathrooms a bit stinky until lunchtime when cleaners come, soggy towel/bathmatt always on floor, pillows rubbish and could do with more blankets esp Sept onwards.

Liked: This place was one of the best I have stayed at. We has a private room with shared bathroom and it was clean and BIG!!! The kitchen facilities were clean and in good condition. It was like a home away from home. The only negative thing I would say is that there was only 1 shower and toilet for all the private shared bathroom rooms, and the toilet was in with the shower. However in saying that it wasn't a big problem.
