Liked: Location - right in old town (casco viejo) and spitting distance from the beaches, great nightlife just outside the front door, great views from balcony, incredibly friendly and helpful staff. Only complaint is that it can get noisy at night if you have a room facing the street - not the hostel's fault, but something to ask about when getting a room assignment.

Liked: The staff here were really nice people and super friendly, also understanding of the travelers´ life. Free towels and bedding was a plus, as well as adequate bathrooms for the amount of people and a functional communal kitchen.

Liked: Really friendly, staff will do anything to help, very clean, spacious rooms and little balconies overlooking the boulevard! Very cool place.

Liked: The people that worked there were super friendly. I felt at "home" staying there with the kitchen, the flat-like setup, etc. It was a good place to talk with people, and it was really close to the beach on the major street in San Sebastian.

Liked: we absolutely loved our stay at urban house, we can easily say it is the best place we have stayed during our 9 months of travelling. As soon as we arrived Liz and Luce made us feel so welcome even though it was 8am! during our 4 days Lize, Dom and Luce treated us like family and made us feel like this was our home. Our stay in San Sebastian will be one of the most memorable and something we will reccomend to ALL our friends. The hostel was always perfectly clean and the atmospher always relaxed and friendly. We are sad to leave, hopefully we can return one day.

Liked: It's a nice and personal hostel, with an excellent location. It only has two bathrooms/showers though, often shared between 15 people or so, but less problematic than you'd think actually. The owner is a nice lady, just be sure you get on with her from the start. It's great that there's no curfew.

Liked: the location. the showers were clean but impossible to stand under as the pressure was like a fire hose and the temperature could not be changed from scalding hot
