Liked: The owner lives there and was very accomodating and helpful. There were no lockers, but we were given 3 keys to get in the building (front door, pension door, and our room door), so it felt secure.

Liked: The owners were very nice and helpful during our stay. Our room for 6 was a little cozy but adequate as we were all family members. It was nice there were 3 bathrooms we could access. The location was good for walking access to everyplace we wanted to go but it was a bit noisey from the street as right below us was a parking area for motorcycles and their 3:00 AM departure when the bars closed was loud. Overall I would rate our stay as satisfactory. I don't specifically remember seeing hostelbookers promoted but that doesn't mean it wasn't.

Liked: Bathrooms and bedrooms nice and clean, excellent location and a warm welcome from the friendly staff. Rooms serviced daily. Would definitely recommend this hostel if you are looking for a comfortable place to stay in San Sebastian. It is located near many bars and restaurants and would recommend ear plugs for anyone planning to stay in the centre of San Sebastian on a Friday and Saturday night.

Liked: The staff was really friendly. The facility was super clean and all our possessions were completely safe. It was in the middle of the two most popular beaches. In walking distances of the beaches, discos, and bars. I had a great time there.

Liked: The hostel is perfectly located in the old quarter. It was really clean and the owner was helpfull, but you can hear your neighbours, if they are loud.

Liked: fantastic location; right in the middle of the parte vieja. bit of a walk from the train station, but everything is. very clean rooms, never a long wait (if at all) for the bathrooms, and they give you towels. also, our room (a double) had a little balcony! marvelous. staff have a habit of hovering over you/opening the office door every time they hear something, which got a bit irritating. nothing traumatic though, and defintiely great value for the money! one more thing: try not to do laundry in san sebastian; none of the pensions have laundry facilities and the one laundromat in town (wash´n dry) is a 10 minute walk from the parte vieja and the prices are outrageous: €40 to wash and dry two loads!!
