Liked: Very central and easy to find IF you use anything other than their directions. Overall very quiet.

Disliked: Directions on Hostelbookers rubbish. Otherwise it was fine.

Liked: Great location - close to Plaza Mayor and the old university. It's basically right in the middle of everything anf it's really easy to get around. The rooms are basic but clean.

Liked: Great location, helpful and friendly staff. Nice hot showers too.

Disliked: Wifi didnt reach to our room which was a bit annoying.

Liked: My friend and I stayed at this hostel and shared a bed for one night. We had our own private room with our own shower and bathroom, all for a very reasonable price! The lady at the desk gave us a map and explained everything very clearly. The location was PERFECT. We were only a block away from the Plaza Mayor and from the University, and a bunch of other central locations. The hostel was quiet (different than typical hostels), very secure, and easy to find. It was so quiet at times that I didn't know if anyone else was even staying at the hostel, but this was nice, as both my friend and I were exhausted and not really interested in meeting other people. The room also had a TV and was very comfortable. I would stay at this place again and recommend it to anyone that passes through Salamanca for a nice, quiet evening/place to stay.

Disliked: There was nothing about this property that I disliked. I suppose if I were traveling alone and wanted to meet more people and engage in social activity I would have been at a disadvantage but I didn't look into seeing what kind of things they offered in this area.

Liked: I love it's location - it's right by Plaza Mayor and University of Salamanca. Everything is within walking distance. The hostel itself is also very nice - they come and clean, give you fresh towels and make your bed everyday. Staff is very helpful, friendly, and accommodating. I'd come and stay here again, and I highly recommend this hostel!

Liked: One of the good things about this hostel is that it is very central and very quiet (a novelty in Spain).

Disliked: Well, we were there in August, so a quiet time maybe, but it doesn't have much character and there is no communal area to meet people (quite common in Spain). We asked to keep our bags there during the day before leaving in the evening and we were given until 3pm which I thought was a bit stingy as most places give you as long as you want. The guy working there was ok, helpful, but not overly friendly.

Liked: The location was very central; the rooms clean and there was free wifi (although it didn't work inside the room.)It was very basic but OK for the price. Both the room and bathroom were tiny and you could hear a lot of noise from the neighbouring rooms and corridor.

Liked: The location is perfect! Be careful: they are strict on no noise late at night, but other than that, if you are planning to go just to have a safe, comfortable place to sleep, this is perfect!
