Liked: The cold shower. the tap water that was too hot to drink. dark atmosphere. everything really. esp the fridgeless stoveless ovenless kitchen. who needs anything but a microwave really?

Liked: Lower price than other hostels in Salamanca. Fairly friendly staff and decent location, but it would be hard to be bad in such a compact city as Salamanca.

Disliked: 20 bed rooms was a bit much, and no safes or lockers, you had to pay extra to put things in the safe at the front desk, and pay extra to leave your luggage there past 12 PM when you check out. Not a very social hostel.

Liked: 24 hour reception is great when you arrive at odd hours of the night, Gabriel was most helpful when I arrived.

Disliked: Two really old guys in the room also, was a bit weird, but everyone else in the room was great.

Liked: Price is cheap. Since there are not many other hostels in Salamanca, this might be your only option.

Disliked: Not a good place to meet people. The bathroom is not the cleaniest I've seen. Beds are old and shaky. No atmosphere at all.

Liked: really near to center, nice place to stay.

Liked: It was clean and wifi worked.

Disliked: It is extremely basic. Not only no breakfast but not even a small kitchen or fridge to keep food! no laundry, no common area. Room was really overheated even after I asked for it too be turned down so we sweated all night and and a terrible sleep. It's Ok for 1 night but would definitely recommend upgrading if you are staying any longer! Also no lockers.

Liked: cheap, clean, great location.

Disliked: didn't seem super secure and you have to pay for a locker, but if you don't really have valuables with you it doesn't matter. the showers sometimes didn't have hot water.

Liked: great location (but that is also because salamanca is so tiny), loads of beds in one room so its sociable, lots of toilets and showers.

Disliked: it worries me that the front door is always left open and the people working at the desk dont know everyone who is staying there so basically absolutely anyone can just walk in and walk into any room (none have locks).

Liked: The location and the cleanliness

Disliked: No shells for to put your stuff at, to the brazilian receptionist: the bus stop for to get to the bus station (bus nr. 4) is on the RIGHT side of Granvia (coming from hostel), and there is a cIoser bus stop to the hostel (its the next one, on the Paseo de las Canalejas), I nearly missed missed my bus because of you!!!

Liked: The big dorm made it easy to meet people, and it was right near the main plaza, the shops and the nightlife.

Disliked: There was no kitchen area, although there was a dining area with a microwave and thousands of plates (no sink or cutlery though...)
