Liked: This hostel has a great atpmosphere and a good layout of communal areas that really make it easy to meet other people. There is very reasonably priced food available all day and evening - including a three course dinner for 7.5 Euros... There was a great mixture of people at the hostal too (I am 30 and I lke places where the age groups are mixed). In the past two years I have stayed at countless hostels on six continents and this definitely rates among the best.

Liked: big rooms with own toilets, fantastic familly room with tarrace, unlimited acces to pool, very friendly staff ,definetly worth it to come back.

Liked: Large faded Spanish house with great laid back atmosphere; quiet courtyards and corners to be alone if you want to or you can join in with others. Very clean, couldn't fault any of the staff, they were fantastic. Free internet, wifi and loads of books too! Near local shops and restaurants, small private beaches and reliable and cheap bus into Palma. What more can I say?

Liked: San Augustini is the place to be, excellent nightscene, best clubs include Tu Y Yo, Fagan`s, Bar Lucky, Rockerfellers and many more. The manager Ingrid is the best host you could ask for, my new surrogate mother. The permanent residents are Mimosas diamonds in the rough. Find a cat named Negra and she will lead you to her posh, proper, AMAzing owner, Lauren. Watch crazy New Zealand comedy late at night and love tap next door. Rent scooters and skinny dip at Mimosas private beach, then stroll to the park after dark, find some tumbleweed, hang out with Cheech and Chong and travel all the way to Hong Kong...PS, Mimosas kitchen makes a mean samosa..

Liked: Out of the way, in a nice neighborhood, really close to the beach, cheap beer, good free breakfast, free internet, pool, lots of people to meet, easy to get to and find- lots of charm and character, and if you want to party, its just a bus ride away
