Liked: This is an amazingly cosy and friendly hostel!!It is not only a beatyful and very old mansion..The owners and the staff give away there hearts!The food is great at a more then fair price. The garden is lovely and the antic athmosphere goes well with the modern facilities-internet and huge Tv-sets...It is located close to nice little beaches - if you realy want to leave the pool with all the toys..My 12 year old son loved it.. all ..and so did I..If you want to have the best of the best of a *** star hostel I will recomend this hostel with all my heart..I surely go back!!!I just hope they will still have rooms!! Liked: The bar area is lovely and creates a nice social atmosphere, without catering to the ´backpacker´ grunge mentality that so many other hostals feel compelled to do. La Mimosa is more like a little B and B and is very warm and friendly. I really liked it! The Swedish owners are very friendly, helpful and create an excellent environment for people who don´t want to spend a small fortune on accommodation. The breakfast is by far the best I´ve had at a hostal and it´s FREE. Delicious.

Liked: It is close to the beach and close to palma, but if you want a "partyplace" you have to be willing to go to Palma or Magaluf with bus and taxis.
