14 April 2009	alistair thomson The staff are by far the best thing about the Rosamar. The fabric of the building is worn and tired and if you want quaint or even stylish, you might look elsewhere, but if value and a good breakfast, coupled with good advice about the locale, then you could do a lot worse. My single room was just that, and like much of the hotel, in need of redecoration. The place was clean and cared for by the staff. Personally, I would try elsewhere next time, but if I the Rosamar was the best price, I'd have no problems in returning. The hotel is set on a main road, parallel that which skirts the marina. It took me 5 minutes to walk from the front door to an airport-bus-stop at the sea front. Av Joan Miro is a very long road, and from the main bus station, you need to keep your wits about you to judge when to jump off. The Rosamar is close to a web cafe and just a few minutes walk from a multiplex cinema. The area is packed with bars and cafes but I was not inclined to explore much.	70%
