It is both Hotel and Monument at the same time. It is situated in a XII Century Cistercian Monastery with a beautiful environment and two cloisters of Baroque and Renaissance style.

The hotel, recently awarded with a medal for being the first monument-hotel in Galicia, is housed in the ancient Monastery of San Clodio, which has been declared a National Monument.

The Hotel has 5 rooms from 60 to 300 m2. The Hotel gives any type of audio-visual material previous request and budget. Available to you are; overhead projectors of Slides, Projection Screen, Video and monitor TV, Computer Projector VGA 350 Lux and Public-address system.

It has 149 wide exterior bedrooms, decorated with classic elements of its epoch, furniture and carpets of noble material and classic style.

The tastefully furnished comfortable rooms come with an en-suite bathroom with hairdryer, a direct dial telephone, satellite/cable TV, a mini bar, a double room and centrally regulated air conditioning.

There is also individually regulated heating and a balcony or terrace in each one. A cot can also be provided on request at no extra cost.

Location Information

Leiro is but a small dot on the maps of Galicia's varied countryside. However, this dot has now taken on a greater importance on the tourist routes due to the opening of a new hotel there.
