The staff and management of Hotel San Miguel is Swedish and all are fluent in English. We are all at your service for both preparations and bookings before you arrive, as well as for all the activities and any other help you need during your stay.

Accommodation Information

‘Hostal San Miguel’ is modern with insulated windows, grounded outlets, fire alarm, emergency lighting, as well as WI–FI.

The rooms are very fresh Double or Twin rooms with shower or bath, toilet, heating, TV and a small BALCONY, some rooms also with a bidet. The three rooms on the ground floor do not have a balcony but are SUITABLE also for people using a WHEELCHAIR as there are no stairs and the doors are wider.

On top of the Hotel there is a ROOF TERRACE, with a WONDERFUL VIEW both to the sea and mountains. There is a POOL which comes in very handy for the children or if you do not bother to go down to the beach in the heat and it is unbeatable also as a refresher after a day of work or excursion.

Besides the pool there are DECK CHAIRS to complete the picture. On another section of the terrace there are tables and chairs. Here GROUPS CAN GATHER or you can simply have a glass of wine and admire the seaview or the mountains in the sunset.

The Hotel also has an obvious gathering point in our CAFÉ with a BAR. Here we serve an abundant BREAKFAST BUFFET, and gather together in our "Adventure bar" in the evening. For groups it is possible to have access to the café during daytime for work or in order to fix your own lunch.

FOR GROUPS and work at Hotel San Miguel you also have the best COURSE ROOM in Nerja at your service! Its capacity is big enough to have everyone in comfortably and has all the necessary installations including a VIDEO PROJECTOR, GOOD SOUND SYSTEM, AIR CONDITIONING and WI-FI (2Mbps). The room can of course, being transformed into a CLASSROOM or CONFERENCE ROOM into whatever you need, like a small CINEMA, PARTY ROOM, room for THERAPEUTIC TREATMENTS, YOGA room etc.

For example, athletic GROUPS have great use of the laundry-room with the three WASHING MACHINES and the TUMBLE DRIER.

Location Information

Nerja is positioned in Andalusia region, or more precisely, in the most eastern part of Costa del Sol, roughly 50 km east of Malaga. It is an area of utmost natural beauty and Nerja is favourably positioned with a protecting mountain range at the back and overlooking the sea which creates a micro metrological "bubble" that gives Nerja a three degrees Celsius higher than Malaga during the winter and a cooling breeze during the summer. That is considered even by the Spanish tourist authorities to be the best climate in Spain, and during winter throughout Europe.

The hotel is positioned right in the middle of Nerja, at the old historic centric lies next to the park "Cantarero" and "La Pintada", the main strolling street.
