Liked: It was clean.

Disliked: My wife was kept awake by talking in the street in the early hours. Expected on a Friday night in summer, but not in chilly November.

Liked: It was well decorated and the owners were kind and helpful to us.

Liked: Really nice guesthouse run by a lovely dutch lady, clean and spacious rooms, wonderful garden with shade and a small pool.

Disliked: The kitchen area does not provide the possibilities to really cook a meal, but it is okay for making breakfast and a salad.

Liked: The owners of the hostel were very friendly and helpful, they speak both english and spanish, everything was perfectly organized. The hostel is very clean and looks really nice, but the swimming pool is tiny.

Liked: This property is an absolute gem. Femma and Rick can't do enough to help and are always on hand to give advice. It's super clean, has a lovely pool in the garden and cold beers in the fridge for just 1 euro - what more could you possibly want?! Superb.

Liked: This hostal is spotlessly clean and decorated in a very simple but stylish way - showing Moorish influences. It is located in a lovely, quiet part of the old Spanish town,which meant that we felt we could experience the real culture of Spain.Nerja is actually a large town but it certainly didn't feel like it where we were. It suited us to not have breakfast provided there as it was an advantage to have access to a microwave and a fridge as well as cups and plates etc. We made our own breakfast there and our own tea too on occasions. The patio and garden are fairly small but delightful and very well kept with outside lighting so that you can eat/drink and relax there on warm evenings. The pool is kept very clean and was great to swim in at the end of a hot day. The owners are extremely helpful and friendly. They provide booklets detailing areas to visit and walks to do which I can recommend. We would definitely stay in this lovely relaxed hostal again.

Liked: Inner court yard, welcoming common space, kitchen facilities (nothing for hot food), information on foot paths explored by the owners -- almost felt as though we were personal guests
