Liked: Nothing

Disliked: I found the hostel really cold at night n freezing in the morning also the breakfast area had no heating .

Liked: Characteristic hostel, good location, next to busstop, friendly host. A good hostel to stay for a couple of days and to visit Nerja. Good busconnections to other parts of Andalucië.

Disliked: gerdina left no negative feedback.

Liked: The owner Antonio was very nice. He speaks only basic english but we were able to understand eachother. We stayed in a double room for 4 nights and was very satified with our stay. The room was clean and the bathroom was too. It was not so big but big enough for two. There was a fridge in the room which came in handy for beer. The terrace where the breakfast is served is a plus. It is also accesible in the afternoon.

Disliked: No WiFi, only one desktop computer for guests. No air conditioning or fans. It was pretty hot in the night.

Liked: Conveniently located next to the bus stop and 10 minute walk from the Balcony of Europe and downtown restaurants/clubs. We had a private bathroom even though our reservation was for a shared bath.

Disliked: The bed was pretty uncomfortable.

Liked: The rooms were ok for the price.

Disliked: I felt totally abused by the manager when asking any type of question to him. I felt very unwelcome and the manager was very aggressive making any good things about the hostel nil and void. I would absolutely not reccomend this hostel to anybody, nobody deserves this treatment as a paying guest.

Disliked: Sort of looks creepy when you first walk in and up the stairs.

Liked: It was the cheapest place to stay and was ok for the money. Breakfast was included and you could help yourself. Room had fridge and tv.

Disliked: The manager was slightly abrasive. Also the website claims they are bilingual English but the owners spoke quite limited English. The bathroom wasn't so good with toilet not flushing properly and shower spraying water all over the place. Also the traffic was pretty noisy at night.

Liked: The owner gave us a map when we arrived and told us some tips about the city.It was quite near to the beach, to the supermarket and other shops (Nerja's city centre isn't that big). The breakfast was quite good for an Andalusian one.There are three rooms with a small balcony, if you stay there you could aslk for one.

Disliked: Didn't have air condition, only a ventilator. It wasn't really tidy.

Liked: The central courtyard kitchen and the room itself was very pretty. The whole place was very clean. The breakfast was good. You could meet and talk to other guests during continental breakfast from 9 to 11 am. The manager tries to help you.

Disliked: The rooms are VERY TINY!. The windows open into the open courtyard and have no glass, only bars, so anyone could reach in and take your valuables if you left it within reach of the window. There is no cair conditioner, only 2 fans, but if you want to open your curtains to get outside air, anyone standing in the courtyard can then look into your room. You can hear Domestic fighting going on immediately next door and upstairs, ie...noisy arguments, banging and crashing during the night and day. If you do not speak Spanish, you will have difficulty communicating with the manager.

Liked: This Hostal was ideally situated for our needs as it was only a short walk into the town and near the bus stop. The room although basic was clean and served us well for the time we were there! Value for money.

Disliked: There was nothing I particularily disliked about this hostal.

Liked: Friendly owners, although we had to wait for 20 minutes for checking-in. Next to the bus stop which is great, but more far away from the beach.

Liked: Its location was excellent, other reviews had complained about noise from the road, but we didn't hear any which was good. The main communal area was nice, as well as being able to use the computer. Room was compact but clean and we were provided with a fan which proved very important ! Perhaps the best thing though was the price.

Liked: Great location, very easy to get to ... literally across the street from the bus stop. The rooms were cute and clean, and the bathroom was fine. Breakfast every morning, just bread and coffee and stuff but it was nice. The owner was a little brash and always seemed kind of exasperated, but that may have just been the language barrier. I'd stay there again.
