Liked: Lovely traditional Spanish building with pretty roof terrace. Ian and Jane are so lovely and very knowledgeable about the local area - they gave us lots of useful tips!

Liked: Friendly English couple,clean in an authentic Spanish property. The roof terrace in the sun for breakfast surrounded by beautiful plants was special.

Liked: the host of hostal is great and friendly. have some nice breakfast over the roof-top terrace. good suggestions by the host on surrounding environments, restaurants, etc.

Disliked: Kind of noisy as it is on one of the busiest street of Nerja. even the pubs closed after 1am, still, many drunk people walking through the street yelling, singing. Lucky that I'm easy to sleep person. Also, no Lift is available. so if you come with a big luggage, you'd better have a big man with you.

Liked: Ian, the owner, couldn't have been nicer and more helpful. He always made time for our questions. The location is fantastic, surrounded by beautiful sea views and delicious restaurants. Definitely a must visit.

Liked: Hostal Miguel was wonderful!! We were only going to stay for 1 night and ended up booking 2 more nights! The owners are incredibly friendly and helpful and the hostal is in a great central location...restaurants surround it and nothing is more than a 10 minute walk. Very clean and secure with a beautiful rooftop terrace. Overall a wonderful value for everything and a perfectly relaxing stay!

Liked: The owners were very friendly and welcoming and nothing was too much trouble. The only downside is that the rooms at the front of the hostel were quite noisy but had great views of the mountains.

Liked: Hostel Miguel is at the centre of everything you want in Nerja it has character much more than the rest of the boring hotel/hostals around. The owners make you feel very welcome and both are helpful and able to speak excellent English and Spanish. This is the only place you will want to stay at while in Nerja or around its as simple as that!!

Liked: great location, 5 mins to beach, 10 mins to bus station, restaurants and bars on the doorstep, owners are very friendly and their local knowledge is excellent. Could do with tea/coffee facilities in room and a lounge for reading/relaxing/tv on bad weather days but otherwise a very enjoyable stay and would definately stay again.

Liked: Hostal Miguel was charming. The adjoining rooms suited our family perfectly, and our teenaged children loved sitting on the tiny balcony and watching the tourists in the cobblestoned street.

Liked: This is a charming little hotel, with very helpful and friendly owners. I felt welcome from check-in through departure. A room toward the back of the building is recommended, as the street side can get rather noisy in the evening.
