Liked: The location. Its right in the centre of the old town but just off the main street so you do not get the nightime noise. Also the friendlyness of the owners. They are there to help you but also let you do your own thing. This is my 3rd visit to the hostal and it won't be the last. Already planning for next year. A great place to stop with great value for money and I would reccomend it to anyone.

Disliked: Nothing.

Liked: The Hostel had a lot of character and charm, which I thought was very nice. It also was quite traditional.

Disliked: The beds were slightly uncomfortable, not too much though; but I have slept in better beds lets put it that way.

Liked: A great hostel in an excellent location. The staff are super friendly and keep the place spotlessly clean. Highly recommended.

Liked: My plans changed slightly which meant I would be staying in Marbella for 3 nights on my own until my friend arrived, Mike kindly reduced the price of the room so I did not have to pay out for two people staying, as originally planned. I was advised on places to eat and used the wifi freely. This hostel is basic but does the job it sets out to do, a bed for the night and the facilities are clean.

Liked: Great hostel, perfect location, free beer on arrival, no fuss.

Disliked: There's often a stange smell of haggis coming from the kitchen..

Liked: Good clean & comfortable accomodation, certainly not for the hotel type traveller, theres no air con, lifts etc - but what you do get is a great place to meet people, the guys who own the hostel have live here for years so know the area well, and are always on hand with advice on where to eat & drink. Its location is right in the old town, 500yds to the beach & about 10mins in a cab to puerto banus - I would definately stay here again! and the roof terrace is brilliant too!

Disliked: Nothing.

Liked: It was close to the beach, the staff was incredibly friendly. Didn't know what to expect really since it was our first hostel, but had a great time, and would defiantly stay again.

Disliked: Finding it at first was a little challenging.

Liked: Very good conditions in a perfect location. The owner was very helpful. If you want to go to party in Pueto Banus and can't afford an accomodation in that place, this is the perfect spot to stay.

Disliked: No breakfast.

Liked: Enjoyable stay. Nice Roof terrace to enjoy a drink or just chill out with other guests. Cool and friendly owners. Come and go as u please as you have your own key. Great location for budget travellers

Liked: Generally rates very highly for me: great location (easy walk downhill from the bus station); very clean; helpful staff; reasonably quiet area; great food options within 100m; and roof terrace with a brilliant view of the Marbella hills. Oh, and FANTASTIC price!!! I can't comment much on the atmosphere / fun place aspects as it appeared to be a fairly quiet time (a lot of the Costa del Sol is like this at the moment).

Disliked: Minor gripes: * No lockers available in the rooms, so not the safest if sharing a dorm. * Showers do not have nozzle holders - seems to be a regular thing with Spain (or at least the hostels).

Liked: Easy to meet people, bar, terrace. Great value, not a hotel it's a hostal, probably best budget accom in marbella. Owner is laid back and very helpful. Wifi in room and pool table. Everything was clean and great location.

Disliked: Hostal is close to the town centre - if travelling by bus it's probably best to get off there, when everyone else does, rather than going back to the bus station.

Liked: I liked the location of the hostel,in the center of Marbella and near of any kind of services,Staff was really helpfull,atmosphere was good.

Liked: Lovely building, very clean. Common room/bar downstairs where you can have a beer and a chat with other quests or the owner who is a very interesting and knowledgeable bloke. Right in the heart of tapas bars and shops and only a short walk to the beautiful beach.

Disliked: Nothing.

Liked: How clean it was, bathrooms opposite rooms. Not having to wait to use them.

Disliked: The beds were uncomfortable. Springs stuck into me.

Liked: The owner was really friendly & fun to be with,i had a really good time,can`t wait to go again,so close to the clubs & beach and a excellent Chinese restaurant called the hong Kong,only 5.90 euros for slap up meal! everything you could possibly want is right on the door step.

Liked: The staff are friendly, the rooms are basic, but immaculately clean, for the price you pay this is bargain accomodation. I'm due in Marbella again in June, and if they have space I'll be rebooking here.

Disliked: Finding it was a little difficult as I was in a car.

Liked: I liked the location in the Old Town and the friendly owners. Very good value for money.

Disliked: Lack of car park but that`s understandable because it`s in the Old Town. I still managed to park my car 5 minutes from the hostel though.

Liked: The staff was incredibly friendly and accommodating. We had a great time sitting by the fire drinking a beer with them, they are just very nice people. The location was absolutely perfect. We were right by all of the good shopping and bars, and about 8 min walk from the beach. I plan on staying there again!

Disliked: It's a pretty old building so the hot water took a minute to start, but for how cheap it is, I didn't care.
