Liked: Great location on the beach. Staff were helpful and barbecue at night was brilliant, heaps of food for cheap prices. I'm sure this hostel would be awesome in summer. The owner (George) is hilarious. Shoutout to Miguel for teaching me some Australian slang.

Disliked: One consideration if you're looking to party every night, you're going to have to take a taxi or walk back from the city center, it's about 2.5km. If you're going to be in the center every night it might be better to stay at one of the other hostels over there. However, if you love the beach, definitely stay at the Melting Pot.

Liked: I ended up sitting around a table of 6 or 7 nationalities, swapping stories and drinking beers. pretty sweet.

Disliked: the directions to get to the place are completely inadequate. i travel a fair amount, speak spanish and still had a problem. also, there were small children

Liked: Awesome off-season promotion! For the price, yeah, it was worth it. Rooms were clean and secure, while showers where hot with good pressure. Breakfast, not so much, but hey, at least it was cheap.

Disliked: Now, if I were to have paid the regular rate per night, I'd have been quite disappointed with the breakfast. But as it was I am pleased.

Liked: the location is smack bang 10meters from the beach (cross a road to get there) The staff were friendly and helpful..the drinks and dinners were pretty cheap and good servings too! The kitchen is good to cook it..and the breaky was simple but good to have : )

Disliked: The beds were uncomfotable, the lienen was really old and made me itchy and feel dirty.

Liked: Very helpfull staff and a great freindly atmosphere. The on site terrace and bar was an excellent place to hang out and the meal offered was great value and delicious! I will be returning there in the future.

Disliked: It is not that close to the town centre but then its perfect for the beach.

Disliked: Only dislike was finding the Bus and knowing which stop to get off, as I didnt speak or understand spanish

Liked: Thirty seconds from the beach! Very helpful and friendly staff, plus delicious meals cooked on the patio bar every night for only 6 euro!

Liked: The staff was very friendly and helpful. The dinner on the terrace with a good price. Also the location of the hostel is very beautiful, with a view to the beach... and the rooms have their terraces as well. I also took part of the free walking tour in the centre of Malaga which was advertised in the hostel and it was amazing... the girl who guided us was really enjoying her job and we heard a lot of interesting things about the city you cannot find in regular tourist books.

Disliked: The bathroom needs fixing (the red room). There should also be some place to hang your cloths while you are taking a shower. The mat in front of the shower was not clean. The door of the bathroom was difficult to open from inside.

Disliked: The hostel is fairly far away from the center and the bathrooms were really tiny!
