Liked: Very unique guesthouse, with lots of 'atmosphere'! Friendly staff, nice room, clean and large bathrooms just down the hall. Access to kitchen with stove, refrigerator etc is very helpful for the traveler with a budget! Easy walk to the historic center of town and the 'hop-on-hop- off- bus' has a stop in front of the church nearby!

Liked: Villa Alicia is almost like home! Our bright and colorful room on the ground floor was close to bathrooms, dining room and kitchen. The kitchen was large enough for several people to cook at once with plenty of space for preparing food and lots of equipment and tableware. All of the staff are wonderful! They keep the house clean and are always so helpful with any advice we needed. After a week, we extended another week. As professional Nomads, we appreciated this home in Malaga. The guesthouse is located in a quiet barrio and very close to supermercado, cafes, and other shops. The bus stop is also nearby so we could ride throughout the city. Walking to the centre is only a 15 minute walk and very pleasant. We'll stay here again when we return to Malaga!

Liked: Peaceful atmosphere (but it is midweek in winter!) and friendly, helpful staff. Very clean throughout, and wonderfully hot showers! Would definately stay there again.

Disliked: I booked a few months before, and didn't re-read about it and so I forgot entirely what they had on offer. It was before filling this questionaire that I read they had a bar, washing facilities and a magnificent view - I wish I had been shown around more thoroughly!

Liked: The bed was very good, very neat and clean, good locations with good decoration

Disliked: The resepsjonist lady had some disturbing phonecalls, that you coud hear from the top floor. Sounded like she had an argument or something. But that will probaly pass. And there is noe wifi on the third floor.

Liked: A delightful villa with lovely rooms and front terrace. Excellent kitchen facilities and good continental breakfast for 3 euros.

Liked: The location was perfect and the staff was very helpful. The guesthouse has a lovely Spanish style and atmosphere. Having breakfast in the patio was very nice. I reccommend Villa Alicia for a nice stay in Malaga.

Liked: Villa Alicia Guest House had a lot of character - the set up was interesting and it was a perfect bed and breakfast type place. The rooms were nice, and the staff was very helpul. Location was out of the city center, a bit too far maybe, but the 10-15 min walk was enjoyable, and the area itself was clean and very 'local' seeming.

Disliked: Location was not ideal but not to the point where I wouldn´t stay at the same place when I returned to Malaga.

Liked: It is in a quiet section of the city. The hostel has nice terrace and also an inside common room and a clean kitchen. The bathrooms are clean and so was everything.

Disliked: You had to call the people from the reception if they weren't there but you had to use your own phone > expensive for foreigners

Liked: The room I stayed in was very big, bright and comfortable. One of the cleanest places I've ever stayed in. The staff are lovely, helpful and friendly, go out of their way to accommodate any needs. Shared bathrooms are also very clean and the whole place gives out a vibe of being well run and like a home from home. It's a 5 min walk from the town centre which means it's really quiet but not too isolated. Perfect for those who value their own space but still want to be in the middle of things. I would like to thank all the staff for making my sta there a thoroughly enjoyable experience ...and the painkillers on Sunday ha!

Liked: I only stayed for one night and left early on the next day. So I didn't really got to know the hostel. But the stuff was really nice and provided me with a lot of useful information.

Disliked: The three storage bed was kind of scary. And the ladder hurt my feet every time I was climbing up or down.

Liked: I would highly recommend this hostel. It was bright, clean and very colourful! Staff were super friendly; I was made to feel extremely welcome, comfortable and relaxed.

Disliked: Alot of noise at night, due to people coming in and out of their rooms / communal areas / bathrooms, but that's just hostel life, and old, (wooden) character doors. However, owners should look into ways of reducing noisey doors, if possible.

Liked: A fabulous place! On a very lovely street and with plenty of access to other beautiful parts of Malaga. The breakfasts were so cozy . . . truly a great place, so charming.

Liked: Funky art on the walls, lots of nice little details in the design and decoration throughout the house. Friendly staff. Nice big fluffy towels. Pretty clean kitchen and terras. Free internet and computer to use. Spotless shower.

Disliked: Far from the ocean or pretty much anything. There were not many people around or a lot to do. The tv did not work. Bad smelling and stained blankets. Very small bunk beds.

Liked: Cute villa on the edge of town, easy walk into the centre and main places. The room was clean tidy and spacious for 2. Bathrooms were excellent, clean and tidy. Kitchen was big with everything that you would need. Great little seating oputfron tto relax and enjoy the evening sunshine. Staff very freindly and helpful in piointing out good spots for eating and visiting.

Liked: Good location, friendly staff, good size kitchen with all facilities

Disliked: It was quite cold in the room, no aircon but extra blanket was provided. The kitchen was open from 9AM as promised but if you have to leave early it is impossible to access it to have even tea or coffee - apart from that I would reccommend it to anyone.
