Liked: That when i arrived and i got to know that the breakfast begins just at 9 am. and i have to leave the hostel every day at 8 am to get to school intime. the staff were very friendly and gave me the key of the kitchen to be able to eat breakfast a bit earlier :)

Disliked: there was a bit too much noise, but its spain so i understand it. but the neighboors was sucks :( no music no nothing

Liked: I stayed at Downtown Malaga hostel for 10 day and really enjoyed my stay there. Perfect location and the staff is so friendly and helpfull. The two Danish girls who stay there were esspecially nice. If I ever come to Malaga again I will stay at the same hostel.

Liked: The hostel is located on a small street but it is close to everything. The staff is friendly and the people staying their were fun. We stayed in a private double room inside of a dorm style room with shared bathroom. It was a little uncomfortable walking from the bathroom to the room but what can you expect when sharing a bathroom. Overall it was clean and centrally located.

Liked: it lacks a woman´s touch. not as clean as one would hope, but the price is great and it is easy to get around walking once you find the place. the staff were very nice and helpful.

Liked: staff was great: william was very helpfull at the reception once i arrived, theo was very informative on issues regarding bull fights (infos that i probably never will use, but still ...), fabio was knowledgable about malaga night life and danish girls did excellent job by painting the walls of corridors with various scenes of bulls in motion. overall - higly recommend the place!

Liked: The beds were comfortable and the rooms were clean. They were accommodating if you wanted an early breakfast.

Liked: The hostel had quite a good location. However the room was very dirty. Our room was not in the main hostel (2 min walk away), there was only one bathroom for 6 rooms (the toilet wasn't even separate). We stayed at a 2 star hotel the next night for the same price in Malaga and it was much better value for money.

Liked: The location is flawless, however they don't tell you that there are two separate buildings so after dragging all our stuff to the first building we were then sent to a different, unmarked building to stay. There were no staff in this building, something which I was not very comfortable with. But the location of both buildings is awesome.

Liked: very good location, close to centre and buses to airport/bus station 5 minutes walk. Friendly stuff, clean beds/bathroom, only at this time of the year not a good time for meeting people. I slept very good so if it's just for sleeping I would definately recomment this place to stay!

Liked: Can't comment on hostel itself, we were put in an annexe a few streets away. Its not the best place to be, dirty bathroom, shutters no curtains, light switches that sometimes work, cramped kitchen, Internet free but not working. Least you know have a clean bed as you make it up yourself! Good bus connections and by bus only 30mins from airport , thank goodness!

Liked: The kitchen and lounge areas are fantastic, large and well equipped, and the doors to the dorms are self locking and there are big lockers. The whole place seems very organized.

Liked: Spacious rooms, CLEAN HOSTEL , CLEAN BATHROOMSInternet and breakfast are provided. You can even do laundry and drying for 1.50euro each.Location: Good location. Finding it might be a bit tricky at first but with a proper map, you'll find it easily. Very close to food (tapas, italian restaurants), Alcazaba and a theatre. You can walk down to Paseo del Palque (a street 6-10 minutes from the hostel) and take a bus to the airport (1.10euro). There's a night/christmas market as well along that streetSafe and quiet.
