Diane Mullen'Fun place to meet people' is not really applicable in this case as this is not the aim of the hotel. It is a good 3 * for business and leisure travel. Erratic opening hours of the cafe can be a nuisance. Good bathrooms, good-size rooms, mainly helpful staff. |

Customer reviewBiggest advantage of hotel venecia is the location. Very easy access for bus station, airport bus stop, old town, shopping, and only around half an hour stroll through centre to the beach. Other reviewers are a little more enthusiastic than I would am. It was perfectly fine but since I paid an average hotel price, I expect a little more than I received. On my visit the staff could have been a little friendlier but they were not unfriendly. The room I had faced to the side and the traffic noise from the Alameda Principal is very loud, all night (stayed on a monday). There were also pigeons for neighbours, numerous pigeons . The room reeked of chlorine when i entered. A sign of cleanliness but not a smell easy to live with. If you need a convenient location for one night, it is safe, easy to reach, and a useful spot. For longer stays, I think more character and less traffic noise would be nicer (or just ask for a room not facing front or side). |

Perfect central location. perfect for two mature travellers on a budget but not a back packers place unless looking for quiet, good bed, bath etc |
