Liked: Great staff and perfect location in Malaga.

Disliked: A lot of people noise from down on the pedestrian mall below. Nothing ear plugs couldn't fix though.

Liked: Clean rooms, badroom ok.

Disliked: Beds are too short for people over than 1,8m size. No W-lan in the flats, because we lived in another building as the reception. Air conditioner too noisy.

Liked: Clean room in excellent location for beach and shops.

Disliked: The lady on reception was grumpy and unfriendly although the man who did the evening shift was the exact opposite and was very friendly and helpful. Didn't like the fact that 1 nights accomodation was taken from my credit card on the morning before we arrived which then gave me no option to pay by cash.

Liked: The only thing to like about this hotel is that it is reasonably priced in a good location. Can walk all over from here and short taxi ride to train & bus station. There is an elevator. Good hot water shower.

Disliked: No phone in room and no phone to use anywhere in the hotel. One desk clerk spoke no English. Was offered a special discounted rate for adding in more days to my stay but when it came to checkout time, that person wasn't there and so I did not get the discount. That was very disappointing as I could have moved to a hostel for a few days.

Liked: The hostel is in the city centre of Malaga and easy to find. The airport bus stop is only 2 minutes by foot. The place itself is very nice, clean and the rooms come with airconditioning. I would recommend the place!

Disliked: If you happen to get a room facing the main pedestrian zone it can be very noisy at night.

Liked: The location was perfect. Everything was within a walking distance. The staff was friendly and helpful. It was an old hotel but clean and felt safe. Although we didn't have an ensuite bathroom we had a nice big TV in our room..;-) We didn't have any notable issues with this accommodation.

Disliked: The pillows were rather hard, not very comfy but that's just the Spanish way... If you entered the hotel after 1.30am you had to wait for quite a while for someone to come and open the front door as they basicly didn't have a reception open 24 hours but it was only fair enough as I think it was a family run business..

Liked: It overlooked a HUGE pedestrian only downtown area. It was the perfect location - I couldn't have asked for a better place to stay in. Our room was clean and big and we had our own bathroom, which was a definite bonus. It was a safe hotel and wasn't far from everywhere we wanted to go.

Disliked: Nothing, I loved this hostel (more like a hotel, which is great!).

Liked: Central; not too difficult to find.

Disliked: My freidnw as unabel to travel due to illness; I informed HL the mornign I was due to stay there but they still kept the deposit; the woman at the desk verged on rudeness and wasn't interested; ie money is what it's all about. I was in the single room off the office so was woken at regular intervals by 'brr brr diga' as the guy answered the phone, prob till 1 am. The shower didn't attach to the wall so washing my hair was tricky. It cost 8-9 euros for booking and 39 euros for the room. I wouldn't go back. I'll find another hostal. helen

Liked: Fantastic location (especially for the rooms with balcony onto calle Marques de Larios, although mine wasn't ensuite), homely furniture, great TV and wifi, cleaned & fresh towels daily.

Disliked: Daytime staff could be slightly more smiley ;-)

Liked: It is located in Malaga's historical center and not far from the beach. Besies there are many tapas bar and restaurants in the area.

Liked: This hostal is on the third floor of a lovely old building in Calle Marquis de Larios, a beautiful pedestrianised street right in the centre of Malaga, with great shops, bars etc. If you have one of the room on the street side you can people watch from the balconies, and soak up the great atmosphere.

Disliked: The only downside of the rooms on the street side, is the constant noise of one sort or another all night long. I was glad I'd brought earplugs! I don'r know what the rooms on the inner sied are like, but I'm sure they'd be quieter.
