Liked: The hostel was clean, central and it had the cheapest single room on offer as I didn't know about any places with dormitories to share in Malaga.

Liked: Location: C.Larios is the heart of Malaga. Helpfulness: the staff were friendly and extremely obliging. Character: an old colonial building, kept spotlessly clean. 5 stars+

Liked: The location of the hostel was perfect. Altho'small, the room was clean and adequate. Great to have AC. The staff were very helpful - Spanish speaking.

Liked: Clean room with large open window to the main street, it provided good air and nice views. Only problem was that Saturday Nights get a little loud with the borrachos returning from the discotecas. They are harmless college kids but they are up until 6-7am walking back down the main street to catch a cab. Either join them for a full night out or be prepared to wake up early in the morning to someone singing or yelling, it is a city though, you have to expect some noise.

Liked: A good hostal, a nearly perfect choice for couples who want to combinethe beach (15 minutes walk) with cultural sights in and the towns nearby Malaga (Alhambra and Cordobas Mezquita.) Friendly staff, the manager speaks english. No breakfast is served, but I recommend people who stay at this hostal to walk two minutes to the market (Atarazanas) to buy breakfast (bread, fruit yogurt,cheese etc).
