Liked: feels almost like a hotel: private, calm, clean. It is also well close to a metro outlet and a bus stop (after 2 am); altho not a walking distance to sol and plaza mayor.

Liked: It was an amazing little place to stay, so friendly and such amazing value. Friendly staff and on a lovely street. Easy to get places, very warm and comfy and did I mention very cheap!

Liked: We are definitely satisfied with our stay at Hostal Salamanca and would thoroughly recommend the hostel to others. Here's why:1) The hostel is not located in the historical centre of Madrid, but that's definitely not a problem - it's much more safer and cheaper (groceries and supermarkets are much more common with greater selection of food and are cheaper), plus the metro station is 2 minutes away from the hostel.2) The hostel is very clean and looks renovated. It was a pleasure to stay in such an apartment (by the way, the hostel consists of apartaments: 5 rooms for 2-3 people + living room + 2 bathrooms - at least that's where we stayed).3) There is a TV too with multiple Spanish channels, both in the rooms and the living room.4) It's a perfect place to stay for a group of friends - if you can, book the rooms in the same apartment - you will feel as in home!5) No problems with the bathrooms - clean and you rarely have to wait for your turn.6) The price is very encouraging - we payed 16,70 € per person per night. You can get A LOT worse conditions for almost the same price in Madrid.7) The staff is very friendly and the guy in the reception speaks perfect English. No one interrupted our stay 8) It's very quiet and 9) There is a fridge in every apartament, but there is no place to make yourself coffee or tea - but frankly, that wasn't an issue (there are lot's of cafe

Liked: It was very tastefully decorated and had a very modern fresh feel with comfortable sitting areas for residents to meet and chat ~ the luxury hydromasage shower in the room was a super and unexpected surprise.

Liked: atmosphere is more like a holiday apartment, very nice and friendly staff, it is really close to 3 metro Manuel Becerra (Line 2, 6) and Lista (Line 4), a supermarket is just 100m away and there is the possibility to use free internet. However, walls are very thin, which can become a problem if you have noisy neighbours. But in general you receive alot for your money, especially considering that it is the capital of Spain

Liked: Clean Room with Bathroom on the floor. Enough space to store all our shoppingthings ;-) It takes 15min from the Trainstation FISTA to SOL. The Hotel is not in the center baut near to it.A Supermarket is 100m from the Hostal.

Liked: All in all this hostal is to a very high standard and reasonably well located. During our stay we had two different rooms. Reason being is the first room 48 was incrediably noisey and had a pretty uncomfortable bed (it would've been fine if there was only one of us in it though). Upon switching rooms, our second was much better. With this in mind guests experiences here will vary. This said, I'd stay there again.

Liked: Very clean and tidy, nice and quiet and perfect for what we needed (sleep after a long over night bus). We choose this hostel as it was easy to get the airport. It had everything we needed for our one night stay before an early flight. I would recommend it for that reason, not for location to bars or for meeting people. It was great for a peaceful evening.

Liked: It's a very nice hostal, close to 3 different metro stops. Helpful staff, clean and very nice rooms. Great value for money. There's a bakery a minimarket close too. I will recomend it to friends!
