Liked: The location

Disliked: Lack of cleanliness, paint chipping, holes in walls, the bathroom was a mess, no air conditioning, no sturdy locks on doors.

Liked: The location is good and it's not too expensive.

Disliked: The staff isn' very friendly and they don't speak any or bad English. Due to the organization of the hostel, it's difficult to meet people.

Liked: The location is fantastic, right next to the metro, its super cheap, not a bad place to crash.

Disliked: no kitchen, and it took like 2 hours to check in!!

Liked: The stay was made graet because I met very nice and friendly people at the hostel however I atribute this to luck since the isolated rooms and the general atmosphere of the place don;t favore meeting new people.

Disliked: the property is actualy a student res, it is very big and if you are travelling alone you can feel isolated. There is no air conditioning in the rooms and it gets quite hot in Madrid in the summer.

Liked: the location is perfect. from the plaza de Espana you can reach everything in Madrid either by walking or by taking the metro for some stops! Breakfast for 1€ was good value, also the price for the accomodation.

Disliked: There were no lockers in the room. It was not really a hostel (also had no sign that it was one!) but a residence for students from the university

Liked: The location

Disliked: The staff were rude and unhelpful with very little english spoken. No facilities at the actual hostel except shared bathroom and beds. During our stay I asked for another towel, was willing to pay for it too but was told that I couldn't have one because they only change the towels every 5 days!!

Liked: hotel very well located in relation to price super clean, staff nice and helpful only default no kitchen but offers great rates for breakfast and lunch

Liked: Incredible balcony with room 353, larger than the double room itself. Great location, and breakfast and bar affiliated with the hotel nearby.

Disliked: No communal area, which made meeting other travellers difficult.

Liked: My goodness was the front desk staff helpful. Absolutely exceptional; the best, in fact, in my entire two months of travel. And that's saying something.

Liked: It's in a really fantastic location and sooo cheap! There are plenty of bathrooms, lockers in the room and breakfast is around the corner for only 1Euro. Also, the most comfortable beds I've stayed in and perfect pillows. :)

Disliked: Nothing really. There isn't a kitchen or common area but I was aware of that beforehand, and the value more than makes up for it!

Liked: It was a very good price for Madrid. Large lockers in the rooms, and a relatively central location. Right by the Plaza de Espana subway station, which has really easy access to the airport line.

Disliked: Not a social hostel at all. There was a kitchen and common area, but it wasn't even in the building I was in, it was a few minutes walk down the street. I guess I never actually ended up going there, so I can't comment too much on it.

Liked: The location absolutely strategies because only around 2minutes walking from the metro station. Having elevator in the building. Value for money.

Disliked: no air conditioner on the room. Very hot during summer. The bathroom too small. I sent email requesting something after made a booking but no reply at all.

Liked: We had a private room for two people which had plenty of space and was next door to a clean bathroom.

Disliked: People in nearby rooms played music loud at night.

Liked: Well located, really cheap.

Disliked: The directions in hostelbookers are not the right ones!!! I get off at the wrong metro station. No one was able to help me find it. Later on when I already discovered the right metro station, I was following the directions for the car - as there were no other given, so I made a big round. I told to the receptionist that directions are wrong, and he said he knows that, but he doesnt know why it is like that. Why than he couldn´t change them? I also work in a hostel. Mistake can happen. But when you know about that, why can´t you correct it?

Liked: The price is ok. But I would suggest to put in the rooms lockheresers.

Liked: Near from main landmarks of the city. Common baths very clean. Privacy an price of double rooms

Disliked: Personal helpful but not enough for quantity of guests during check in/out. Difficult to communicate with old manager in other language than Spanish

Liked: Good location, nice views from the seventh floor, nice people

Disliked: There were safety boxes in only some rooms, and if your room didn't have, then there was no safetybox-opportunity. The luggage room was in the end of the corridor in different floor from the reception, so it felt like anybody could've asked for key from the reception and walk out with the luggage.
