Liked: Close to Metro, rooms were very clean. Don't let the entrance way and stairway deter you. The rooms were alot nicer.

Liked: Amazingly friendly landlady, although be prepared to have at least a basic understanding of Spanish! Room was as described, we had one without air conditioning and it was still well ventilated. The Royal Palaces, Sol and Museo Prado (and the beautiful surrounding parks) are all within a 20 minute walk, or easily accessable from the Metro. Very clean, basic and functional but a perfect base to explore Madrid without spending a lot of money.

Liked: The hostel is nice and clean. Not indicated for meeting people, but it's downtown Madrid so people can be met directly there. The staff is very kind even though they don't understand much of english

Liked: It was an ok hostel. Near the museums and the train station Atocha. Hostel is clean and the rooms are not too small. It was a litle bit scary when we came to hostel ( I'm not sure why), so if you get scared with no reason dont be because there is really no reason to be scared about:)) I

Liked: The water of "24 hour hot showers" felt very cold to me. It's an ok place if you are looking just a quiet place to sleep.

Liked: Its location is perfect. The whole place is thoroughly cleaned every day, towels are changed every day. My only suggestion to improve the services: a fridge that can be used by the guests (placed in the corridor or in the lobby) could be useful.
