Liked: negatives: old and small room.pozitives: very central. You can walk every seesight by walking 15-20 minutes. near to Atocha train station. clean. owners are nice and warm people. (Old lady do not know English. Gentleman knows English). there is a bathroom in the room.result: This hostal is good if you want to see Madrid all day and back to hotel for resting.

Liked: Good location.Gloomy entrance.Very clean room and good bathroom.Main problem being on a busy street.Traffic lights outside,lots of horns beeping.Saturday night very noisy.Owners did not speak English.only a son so we could pay.Felt a bit isolated.

Liked: The location was good and the staff was friendly. The price was okay considering the fact that we had our own bathroom. The only bad thing was that our room was not that soundproof. We had a neighbor who came home at 5 am and took a shower, felt like he was showering in our bed... And it was also cold in the room during night/morning hours. I would recommend it but we also stayed at an other hostel (better and cheaper - Hostal Salamanca) a bit further away from the centro (5-10 min subway), but with the great and cheap metro system that was not a problem i Madrid

Liked: The rooms were very quiet and comfortable. It was clean- the room was cleaned each day. For the location and the room, the price was very reasonable.

Liked: It is as mentionned, no more no less. It is very pleasant for the location near to center city and because you keep the key with you and can come and go as you want. But you can hear the noise from the big street.

Liked: Simple. No fuss. In the centre so no need for facilities within the hostel. ATM's, supermarket, restaurants, bars seconds away. No kerfew.

Liked: tTe atmosphere of this hostal is quite good and the staff are quite nice. However, it is a bit inconvenient if u book doublebed ensuite as there is no door for the toilet!! lol and dunno why we cant find any remote control for the tv... Other than that, the location is good as it is literally quite close to the Palau guell and free wireless network is provided. The street ouside the hostal is quite noisy even at 2 :oo am.

Liked: cet hostal est impecable, en plus de son prix trés competitif, il te permet de decouvrir la plupart des monuments incontournables de la ville juste a pied!! trés calme pour les chambres donnant sur la cours interieur..coeur battant de madrid et je vous le recommande vivement..

Liked: The room was very clean and nicely furnished, felt like a real hotel room and it had its own private bathroom. The staff, however, was never around to ask any travelling questions and did not give any advice, even when asked.

Liked: Very clean and comfortable room. Price was very acceptable. Stayed on a FRI/SAT - street noise was excessive both nights due to disco located nearby. Availability of food and metro nearby were big pluses.

Liked: The location is perfect. Really close to everything yet really quiet at night - so great for sleeping. The accomodation was very clean and well serviced. I would reccomend this as great value for money. I would go back anytime.
