Liked: Good clean rooms in quaint building. Nice balcony over a busy street with a feeling of the world going on round you. Excellent for shops, Prado and central Madrid, including transport connections.

Liked: Hostel was okay. Stayed in a single private room with own bathroom, which was clean. Walking distance to the Plaza Mayor and Sol, but next time I would like to stay a bit closer to Sol.

Liked: It was really clean and classy. There was a creepy old man (manager) that randomly walked into our room without knocking, and when we arrived he kept asking current guests when they were leaving because he couldn't find us a room. Other than that it was fine.
