Liked: I do not usually comment, but feel the need to inform others of this hostel. Staff are completly unhelpful, dorms and beds are way too small and cramped. The breakfast is terribile...I do not recommed as a place to stay. The only good thing about it is its location.

Liked: free internet. stingy on breakfast though. they have a beer vending machine which is hilarious cause that's what they have in place of a bar.

Liked: Hostel was alright. The bar does open at all, you have to go to Cats hostel for that. Nice roof top terrace but itºs only open until 11pm. The kitchen is in desperate need of remodeling, tiny fridge and almost no plates, cutlery, cups or pots.

Liked: The rooms are really small, If you are lucky you will get an upper bed, which you can sit on. If not you will get the lower one, where is not enought space to sit on, what I have found really annoying, especially because there is no chair in the room. The only place you can sit on is the floor.This was the only thing which made my stay in Mad Hostel a bit uncomfortable.

Liked: When we made our reservation by hostelbookers website, we choose our bedroom number, so all the group could stay together, but when we arrive in the hostel, the group was divided and the staff didn't try to help us. The place is just OK.

Liked: The watch fobs that operate the doors and lockers are a great idea. The location is quiet but in very easy reach of all the best that Madrid has to offer.

Liked: I can tell you what I did NOT like about property...Size of their rooms is outrageous! More like a cage than a room to be honest.Size of their beds no better! Even a hobbit would feel trapped.In general - really claustrophobic!

Liked: I met there really nice people!!! It was clean and each room had acclimatization- it was great because in Madrid can be really hoot!! Breakfast was also super- I was in a few hostels, but only in this Hostel they give us also something sweet like a doughnut (+ toasts, muesli, tea, coffee, jam etc. of course) .
