Liked: I liked the location, within walking distance to everywhere. The big lounge area in the hostel- great place to meet people. It was very clean and tidy. Cooking facilities.

Disliked: Really disliked the position of our room. As we were at the end of the veranda and push into the corner of the building we had a tiny little window that didnt let any air in. Therefore at night when the room was full with 6 people it was very hot and stuffy. So we asked for the air-conditioner to be put on (it was then freezing!), everyone woke with a cold the next day. I have one right now! Also the wrist band keys for the doors. Good security, as it sometimes even kept you out. But once you knew what you were doing it was ok. I did notice though some peoples locks were harder to get into then others.

Liked: 24h reception, possibility to print online boarding passes, roof terrace was nice to watch the sunset

Disliked: poor cleanliness especially in bathrooms, but partially ist the fault of the guests who don't care about cleanliness, too many beds per room, air conditioning was so cold that I froze all night under the thin blanket

Liked: The location is good, only walk several minutes after subway.

Disliked: Can't charge the camera in room and also there's no place to hang up the cloth and towel in the shower room, it's really not convenient.

Liked: the key situation, because they were on rist bands- you never had to worry about not having your key with you.

Disliked: the rooms and the beds, not comfortable or very accomodating.

Liked: Great location, good facilities, no complaints... Great hostel! And awesome staff.

Disliked: price could be a bit lower, and breakfast is a bit small.

Liked: the common lounge is a perfect place to meet the others living in the hostel. it's a brilliant space.

Liked: Everything, place is awesome and really near the town center.

Disliked: The showers have no place to put your shampoos, soaps etc, it`s tough in that matter.

Liked: very high security locker and lock, and even luggage room you have a ticket for it, and good breakfast

Disliked: very small room, if u want to pack your stuff, u may need to pack outside of your room, some bunk bed was really bad quality, make the noise all night, mattress really hard as well, and no washing line can put any towel, i think they can make one on the terrace, not everyone like to use dryer.

Liked: Location. Bathrooms and showers were good.

Disliked: Wifi sucked horribly, entirely disappearing for hours at a time. The locks on the doors are insanely difficult. The beds are uncomfortable.

Liked: An all-around very good hostel, very well located, nice to meet people, breakfast quite alright.

Disliked: Not many group activities.

Liked: The one donut I was allowed at breakfast was good.

Disliked: The kitchen did not have an oven and the fridge hadn't been cleaned out for a while. The pub crawl did not end at a club as advertised.

Liked: Big common room with computers and wifi' played music, toilets on ever floor. Breakfast was free but not much. Good place to stay with a group of people if you booked a room to yourselves.

Disliked: bedrooms were tiny! Had 8 people squished together in the rooms which shouldnt have had more than 4. Beds were like childrens bunk beds, very small in length and height. Nowhere to put your things in the showers. Kitchen was tiny, had one microwave, one fridge for all of the guests food - which was packed, could hardly fit anything else in it.

Liked: Big common room and close enough to walk to the centre/access the metro easily. Breakfast is nice but a shame it's rationed and only served until 10.

Disliked: Tiny dark rooms that face onto a courtyard with a glass roof, so it's like a greenhouse and you get no fresh air. Beds were really squeaky- not just the frames but the mattresses had plastic covers that were really noisy every time you turned over. Rooms were small and very basic- not even a bin inside. I did the Mad/Cat's hostel walking tour and it was a complete waste of the morning- no real information about the culture and history of Madrid.

Liked: This may be the best backpackers hostel in Madrid, a much setter than his partner hostel Cat's.

Disliked: Nothing.

Liked: The location was near a metro stop.

Disliked: The staff was rude and the keys to the room didn't work. We waited atleast 20 minutes for a staff member to "attempt" to open the door for us. Needless to say that took another 10 minutes to accomplish.
