Customer reviewIt felt a little cramped for space but them again so does most of Europe for North Americans. I liked the authentic and antique feeling. It felt like Madrid at and earlier time. I was overjoyed by how convenient it is to Museo del Prado, heart of the city and older districts. Frankly I don't remember if 'HostelBookers' was promoted but I will mark, "yes," so that I can continue and submit. |

Customer reviewRoom was TINY, had no window and hence no fresh air. The "bathroom" was acutally no room, just an integrated tiny shower and toilet in the room sepereated by a plastic curtain. No charm, no atmosphere! Not even hooks for the tiny towels we paid extra for! The glas door was definitly not safe. But at least the location was great. |

Customer reviewIt is right in front of the Prado Museum in Madrid, price is very good but the rooms are located in several different buildings around the area, so it´s not a conventional hostal, the staff is very friendly. |

Natasha YaworskyThere was little to like about this property other than the satisfaction of finally leaving! I booked this last minute and despite the bad reviews I thought I would have seen worse in my travels. The thing that annoyed me most was that I was shoved in a room with no natural light, (the small window in the corner opened into a pitch black stairwell) and they had an attitude as appealing as a surley teenager on a Monday morning. PLEASE do not stay here, maybe if they have less custom they may clean up their act and realise that their survice is less that acceptable. |

Customer reviewThe location was great, everything was within walking distance but not happy about how they operate. Checking in, there is no reception desk. everything is done behind a curtain, which is very shady. The room is really hot, no fan or A/C and the washroom was really small. |

thomas woodallNot a bad hostel. Good if your on a budget and want a good location for a cheap price. Staff were really helpful although had immense trouble finding it-not what you need after a train journey. Rooms got hot at night with no air con but generally quite good. |

Customer reviewlocation is ideal - 5min walk to city center (plaza mayor) really cheap but you get everything (except breakfast - but you have museum of jamon in 2min walk so actually you have everything :)) |
