Liked: There was little to like about this property other than the satisfaction of finally leaving! I booked this last minute and despite the bad reviews I thought I would have seen worse in my travels. The thing that annoyed me most was that I was shoved in a room with no natural light, (the small window in the corner opened into a pitch black stairwell) and they had an attitude as appealing as a surley teenager on a Monday morning. PLEASE do not stay here, maybe if they have less custom they may clean up their act and realise that their survice is less that acceptable.

Liked: The location was great, everything was within walking distance but not happy about how they operate. Checking in, there is no reception desk. everything is done behind a curtain, which is very shady. The room is really hot, no fan or A/C and the washroom was really small.

Liked: Not a bad hostel. Good if your on a budget and want a good location for a cheap price. Staff were really helpful although had immense trouble finding it-not what you need after a train journey. Rooms got hot at night with no air con but generally quite good.

Liked: location is ideal - 5min walk to city center (plaza mayor)really cheap but you get everything (except breakfast - but you have museum of jamon in 2min walk so actually you have everything :))

Liked: The location is perfect, and for this price I didnt wait for a 5 star hotel, I was sure it would be poor. But we had beds, bathroom, what else would you need for a short stay? :)

Liked: firstly. No signposted office so after walking 5flights of stairs with big bags and checking every door we finally got lucky. Address is misleading. Once you pay you are then shifted to a seperatr building 5mins walk away that is definately not sud Americana but some other hostel.Streets outside are rediculously noisy until about 3 or 4 am. Also there's no sort of fan or air con.And also There is only one bathroom/toilet to share with close to 25people. Almost impossible to not have to wait for te toilet. And on our last day there was no hot water.

Liked: There are 3 different buildings to this Hostel. The one in which we stayed has just been re-done so it was quite clean. There are no bed linens so be sure to bring your own. Other than that, the location could not be beat. We were a walking distance away from everything.

Liked: It was great. We were given keys and given total freedom to do whatever whenever without being bothered. It has everything you would need, and at a great price. It is kind of a party neighborhood so people are up very late being loud. But if you are one of them, you will fit in perfectly. If not, it might be kind of hard to sleep. Bring a fan cause it can get hot!

Liked: It was extremely cheap and in a great clean, quiet location. It was fine if you do not need/want any help from the staff. The only trouble was waiting to get the room and having to get the key from another location.

Liked: I stayed for 4 nights. The room did not get cleaned while I was there, nor did the staff empty the bin. There was hot water the day I arrived, the rest of my stay I had to take cold showers.The location is good.
