Liked: Location! It is right in the heart of Puerto del Sol close to all the bars, pubs and tabernas. Close access to bus and metro stations.

Liked: the room was clean and recently refurbished and the location was great but the reception we got from one of the staff members was icy to say the least. kind of a turn off. still, nice experience overall.

Liked: Great location in central Madrid! The room was clean and larger than we expected, a pleasant surprise. Large bathroom in our private room, and friendly helpful staff.

Liked: We stayed in the newly refurbished part and so the room was of a very good standard as well as being quiet. Although advertised as from 23 euros per person, per night, we paid 60 euros for the first 2 nights and 46 euros for the last night. No obvious reason as we stayed Mon, Tues and Weds.

Liked: It's in a very central location - don't be put off by the windy stairway. The staff are very friendly and everything was uncomplicated. I had a lovely, modern, clean en-suite bedroom with TV and air conditioning. I would highly recommend this hostel.
