Liked: I appreciate cleanness of the room, it´s look - it was like in the hotel (our room: double bed private), location straight in the centre of the city but calm enough during the night.

Liked: great location despite being just around the corner from several nightclubs and pubs, hence can get quite noisy all during the night, if someone has a light sleep

Disliked: staff are indescribably unfriendly and unhelpful! No smile, no please or thank you. One member of the night staff was trying but not even able to grasp some of the most basic english expressions. When we asked for an additional towel as there were only two bath towels and on hand towel provided for two people, we were actually told that this is all we're getting...

Liked: The location was really good and the standard of accommodation was really good for the price. I paid the price of a hostel room to enjoy a hotel room.

Liked: My wife and I stayed in a number of hostels while traveling through Spain and this was by far the best place! Everything about this place was perfect, thanks!

Liked: Location was amazing; beds very comfortable; decent shower. If I went back to Madrid, I would stay here again

Disliked: There was almost no noise from outside, but a lot of noise in the mornings from other guests within the hotel. The heating was on full blast and the rooms were very hot

Liked: we were very satisfied with the hotel... location couldn't be better and it is not so noisy during the night, so you can have good night sleep. however, the linen was not changed the whole 6 days. towels were changed once, and not every second day... however, i would recommend this hotel especially to young couples!

Liked: Room nicely furnished and spacious. Wifi was not available in our room. Bed linen was not changed when we arrived and we had to try to explain to the non-english speaking receptionist why we don't like stained sheets and that we want clean ones. There was a tiny safe deposit box (not big enough for a laptop or DSLR) in the room which cost 1 euro every time you wanted to open it. Location was close to the main square with Sol metro station right around the corner. Not best value for money.

Liked: Rooms were nice size, and very clean. Room was cleaned every day, new towel every other day, and new sheets every third day. Location was wonderful! Nice to have the free wifi, and a great hot shower. Not a great place to meet other people but had a great stay and would stay there again. Great restaurant right across the street on calle de cruz, i think it was called el jardin. We ate there 2 times and both times it was great. We got the menu of the day (3 courses and wine) for 10 euros per person. Great food, great service and a great deal. Loved our stay in Madrid!
