Liked: very good location, in the heart of Madrid, near to 3 metro-stations. Friendly staff.

Disliked: noisy surrounding (Gran Via) and the breakfast wasn't that good (croque monsieur each day).

Liked: It was a very central hostel in the heart of madrid. all the public transport was near the hostel. Also, it was very secured. the wifi was really helpful.

Liked: Simpátia, o ambiente simples e agradável, calmo, apesar de estar virado para a Gran Via que tem sempre muito movimento. Pequeno-almoço simples mas suficiente. Nos quartos tem-se chuveiro e lavatório, mas sanita não. Penso que a única lacuna neste agradável hostal é o facto de somente haver uma sanita para todos os quartos e a descarga da sanita ser muito fraca, o que promove situações incómodas.

Liked: One stranger knocked my room in the midnight, and it is so wild. Due to the toilet in the outside, it is a little incontinent when you want to pee in the midnight.The worst, this location is too nosily.

Liked: Very cold and very noisy (from inside and outside), very hard to sleep there. I have booked a room with a private bathroom and when i got there there the room was not available. they gave me a room without a private bathroom and returned me some money.Otherwise, it's true that the location is very good and the staff was friendly.

Liked: Everything was very nice, including the decoration, the staff, the breakfast served in the room,etc.The only minus would be the heating. It was rather cold even if I had 2 blankets and one extra heating device.

Liked: Breakfast was included in the price. There was a security guard in the main reception of the building and a key was needed to enter the hostel and our room. We also had free internet which was helpful to look up restaurants and places to visit during our stay.

Liked: Very central, adjacent to a large variety eating establishments, Metro station and large shopping mall. Very helpful staff. Clean and cheap for city centre accomodation with light breakfast & use of internet included in price. Realy enjoyed our stay in Hostel and Madrid

Liked: The Gran via hostel made my stay in Madrid. The view was just incredible from our room and spectacular to wake to up every morning, as were the toasted ham and cheese sandwhiches! The Gran via staff were relaxed and helpful. If you are looking for prime location, value for money and a real sense of Madrid, then book the Gran Via.
