Liked: A great hostel in a nice location and a spacious dorm considering it's central Madrid. All in all, very good value for money.

Disliked: The only downside was the limited opening hours of reception. I arrived at 11am and had to wait till 2pm to be able to check in.

Liked: This was the best hostel I stayed at out of three in Madrid. Im sure that it has some to do with being new, but regardless it is nice and the staff are very cool. Excellent location in the center. Easy navigation to from airport and easy to navigate the city by the metro. Nice kitchen. Good vibe.

Liked: I have wonderful memories about Madrid and this hostel. Highly recommended. Small but freindly, it has everything what a backpacker needs.

Disliked: Nothing fancy. But if you think about that, you are in Gran Via, which is fancy itself.

Liked: the price and location

Disliked: no hot water, only 2 bathrooms for 50 people, can not leave your luggage there, small kitchen, it also says only students are allowed to stay but I was there for four nights and there were quite a few 40+ yrs old staying there-including a creepy old man in my room.

Liked: I have my doubts about the source of the previous 100 % reviews...

Disliked: This hostel is one of the worst ones if not the worst I stayed in Madrid (and I stayed in over 15 Madrid hostels during the last 2 years). I stayed here for 3 days in total, it was 3 days too many. The facilities are not suitable for a hostel: there are two bathrooms with toilet IN TOTAL, which are not very clean. There is a really tiny kitchen, which can hardly accomodate more than 3 persons, and also serves as a laundry room, so half of it is usually taken by the bedsheets. The storage room (for which you can pay 2 E if you want to leave your luggage in the afternoon the last day of your stay) does not really exist: they just put your luggage in the kitchen, so think about what you want to leave there. Before paying they dont tell you that the storage room is leaving the bag in the kitchen. The dorm is overcrowded with the beds, meaning there is not enough space to leave the bags next to the bed and be able to climb on the top bed. The beds are making a lot of noise upon every single movement, waking yiou up in the night. The first night there was no heating in the big room (-5 in Madrid during night). The staff answers your questions when you come to them and it is about all they do. There is no common room (the mini kitchen can not be called a common room as it is a laundry and storage room as well) )and there are no computers (however, there is a wireless if you have yourown laptop). The value for the money relation is really bad here, if you are really on a budget and watch every euro, book here, if you can pay 2 euros more, there are plenty other choices which will make your stay in madrid much nicer. Another thing, on the check in they will make you sign a document saying that under no circumstances they will return you the money once you pay for it. Straight after you are put on a flourescent paper bracelet which you HAVE TO wear during your stay even though noone controlled it at any point..but then you cant say no thanks anymore.

Liked: A great option for anyone on a budget. Nice, clean and quiet hostel. Would definitely stay here again!

Disliked: One thing I would say is that the rooms aren't very sound proof.

Liked: Very nice and highly recommended hostel. The staff is extremely friendly. Too bad I could only stay here one night, but would have stayed longer if I did not have a flight going out. Rooms and bathroom are very clean. Thanks guys!

Liked: The reviews were not that good, so we didnt expect much, but i really liked the hostel. The location is excellent you can easily get to all the sights a lot of buses here and metro station just around the corner. The staff is very helpful and frendly, on duty 24 hours) Rooms are nice and clean.

Liked: One of my top recommendations. The room was tiny, but comfortable and very clean. The staff tried to solve all problems that appeared. The hostel has a very good location, in the middle of all major turistic points.

Disliked: We didn't have many options for fun in the hostel, but who wants fun in a hostel when we are in Madrid, with all that wonderful places to see?

Liked: We had a nice time in the hostel. We got good advices for trips and serveral kinds of help from the staff, thank you! Nearly everything was nice.

Disliked: Only the cleanliness of the bathrooms can be better. But that is a problem of most hostels... Thank you for the great time in Madrid!

Liked: Great hostel. A cool staff, good athmosphere, good prices. The rooms and bathrooms are very clean and confortable. I liked the hostel a lot. Its very close to the subway and the city center. I really wanna go back there one day!
