Liked: The hostel is a place to stay with funky looking feel to it the stafff were helpful, the location was also good close to bars restarants the metro station and shops. The downside to the hostel was the atmosphere everyone was either on laptops or there phones all the time if you are travellin alone like i was it would best to sta away from this place as its hard meeting people if you are a couple or a group i would say book it

Liked: This was one of the best hostels ive stayed in in Europe and I've been traveling for four months now, if u come to Madrid, STAY HERE! Good bar, good location, good staff, good beds, top notch

Liked: Really friendly staff, want you to have a good time. Nice location, good Wi-Fi, nice beds, comfortable room. Seems very male-dominated, though; female groups might feel a little outnumbered.

Liked: In all of my travels through Europe (which includes 4 other cities), this is my favorite hostel by far! The staff is amazingly friendly, we had such a great time and felt welcome the entire time we were there! They definiely have it figured out when it comes to hostels, if you want to meet some fantastic people and have a good time, stay in this one!

Liked: Stunning hostel. Staff were ludicrously friendly, everything was as near as you could want from the building and the whole trip was a great success. Loved the building too, excellent mix of cosy/friendly/warm and historical/industrial/interesting. Spot on.

Liked: Perfect hostel with a great location, safe area, friendly staff and unbeatabe room rates. The hostel is kept clean though it was full. This is one of the best hostels that I have stayed so far and I will be back for sure.

Liked: Lovely place. I spent eight nights and I enjoyed the stay, staff members are friendly gently smiling and helpful always. the level of cleanliness is high consider for hostels standard.customers are multigender from all the world. kitchen is nice and almost large. there is free wi-fi. the location is excellent.

Disliked: I am only suggesting to put larger lockers in the rooms.

Liked: Nothing

Disliked: Very cramped, people playing music in their room through the night, partying and coming in and out of the rooms constantly till 5am when we had to get up and leave for France. And our door couldnt close properly and got stuck in the bathroom since the door didnt want to open. Staff not very helpfull and friendly. Travelled 4 countries and 11 cities and it was the most unpleasant experience by far.

Liked: I am incredibly confused why people rate this property 100%. We picked this hostel because of the cheap price and super high rating. I guess the only positives are the price and location (very easy to get to)

Disliked: Ok where do I start. The hostel staff was rude (I don't really care but some people do) - they even made us wait outside while tending to other matters. The security is average, not going to explain this here. You can't be in the room between 11am-2pm. The oven does not work. There is no common room. The kitchen is tiny. There was only 2 combined bathrooms between the 18 guests in the lower apartment. There was a complete lack of space and power points in the room. The beds squeak loudly. We went to the reception to do a walking tour as they advertise and was told to walk to the tourist information near plaza de mayor to find one... We were meant to stay for 3 days but ended up just leaving after 1 night and going to Cat's. I do not regret this decision slightly. We could not get any money back so lucky it was cheap. In my opinion (and others I met) you re better off paying an extra couple of euros somewhere else. If they do breakfast then it's worth it!

Liked: The location

Disliked: The hostel gave their minimal yet they had very strict rules asking you to sign on many forms. There was no hot water option on the sink. Toilets and kitchen were rather dirty. There was no fridge to keep your food and there were usually dishes left undone on the sink. Rooms were not cleaned daily and the floor was really dirty. Staff were not all friendly. I would not recommend this hostel to anyone.

Liked: super clean hostel, the most helpful staff and great location... met all our needs and we had a great stay. we were not only the guests at the hostel and they went beyond this and we have become friends. will definetly come back and see you soon guys ...

Liked: The place was great value for money. The rooms and bathrooms very clean. Very cosy kitchen. Close to all the old town attractions. Staff went out of their way to help. You really can't expect anything more for the price.

Disliked: My only one improvement would be is to have top sheets provided as well in the dorm rooms.

Liked: For the price, was a fantastic hostel. Great location near sights and subway station. Comfortable bunk beds and clean bathrooms. Tourist information office a short walk away up Gran Via.

Liked: Nice quiet little hostel very close to all the sights in central Madrid. The staff are very cool and friendly, and were always willing to help!

Disliked: The kitchen was too small ever for a small hostel.

Liked: The hostel staff was friendly and very helpful in providing information about the city and surrounding sites. The location is great, a few minutes away from the Plaza del Sol with tons of restaurants and bars surrounding the area. Would definetly recommend.

Disliked: The hostels doesn't have an own bar.

Liked: This hostel was incredible! Staff was extremely friendly and helpful, it was very clean, and the location is unbeatable.

Disliked: Only thing was the cleaning time when you have to leave for 3 hours.

Liked: The hostel was great!! It's right near the Royal Palace, Plaza de Espana and Gran Via. It's also very close to a metro stop - making it easy to get to from the airport. The staff was friendly, helpful and we felt very safe staying there. I would definitely stay at there again, and would strongly recommend it to others. I also thought the price was very reasonable.
