Liked: I liked the location

Disliked: The staff of the hostel was not very friendly. You have to go out of the hostel because they want to clean between 11 and 2, but the hostel is not clean. And my roommate found a towel, that was full of mold under the bed.. so that must have been there for a while. They have 3 lockers in a room for 6 people, the lockers are very small and you have to pay 1 euro everytime you open the lock. There are 2 bathrooms with 26 people, which makes it impossible to shower in the morning or go to the toilet. They have no living room or something where you can hang out, and you will be kicked out of the kitching, so you have to stay in your room all the time.

Liked: This place was way better than I was expecting. It was spotless and the 14 bed dorm was very spacious.

Disliked: I stayed only 1 night so no complaints.

Liked: We loved our stay at smile society. The staff was super friendy and knowledgeable. They helped us arrange tours, bus tickets, train tickets, etc. Security is great. We ended up extending our stay there becasue they were so helpful and the location was good, right near the subway. Definitely recommend them!.

Liked: All in all, United World is as good as they come. The hardworking staff went the extra mile to make the hostel feel like a home away from home, and did a good job at creating a sense of community between the guests. It was cheap and spotlessly clean, with fast internet, and friendly people.I'd stay again.

Liked: Wonderful Hostel!!! We totally loved it and decided to come here again for our second stop in Madrid. The rooms and bathrooms are great and clean and the small common room/kitchen is nice to hang out and get to know fellow travellers. The owners are super friendly and helpful!!!

Liked: Awesome location. Gran Via is the best area in Madrid.

Disliked: The only problem with this hostel is that there is no computer but wifi is avbl. Beside this small critic, everything is perfect. You should definitely go there if you are in Madrid !

Liked: I participated in their promotion and I was impressed. I expected a small hostel with smelly beds, but the linen are colorful and clean, smell very nice. Staff was very friendly. They always have some nice words to you.

Disliked: Bathrooms are not that big but I expected something nasty. I got clean instead:)

Liked: This was a decent hostel to be in. The hostel's character is great.

Disliked: The kitchen is rather small and when a lot of people are there it can get really hot inside.

Liked: Couldn't get a better location! Plus having the bar downstairs was a definite upside, had plans to go elsewhere but stayed there the entire night!

Liked: Great location in a building with lots of charm. We really enjoyed our stay there even though the beds were a little shaky. Staff was very friendly, hostel was very clean.
