Liked: The room was a great size for two people, comfortable beds and a bathroom of perfect size. For the price of the accomodation, something like breakfast included would be worth considering.

Liked: Appartments are great, more expensive than the normal room (10 Euros) but you can find more space , kitchen and other faciities. Internet WiFi for free excellent. I will recommend this place to other travelers.

Liked: The room even though expensive was really an apartment that had a full kitchen. Perfect for the high maintenance traveler:)

Liked: Got an upgrade from a twin to an apartment, and the staff was really nice.

Liked: We got much more than we were expecting, we're young people travelling so we didn't quite get the mixing with young people that we would've liked, but the place was amazing, we had all the facilities we wanted, we were in the centre of town, and the staff were very helpful.

Liked: The best thing about Hostal Madrid is its location, right next to Puerta del Sol and one block away from Plaza Mayor. By walking you can get to bars and restaurants in Plaza Santa Ana at night. Metro Station just few steps from the hostal.

Liked: The staff were very friendly and helpful. They provided us with a map and excellent recommendations for places to eat and sight seeing.The apartment was huge and well air-conditioned. I would definitely stay here again.

Liked: We stayed in one of the apartments--we really enjoyed having the small kitchen (with a stove, fridge, microwave, washer, and sink) and the extra room to spread out. The room was very clean, but the bathroom shower wasn't great. The hostel is in a great location--just steps from the Puerta del Sol metro station. It's a very busy area, but our room was in the back of the building, so it was very quiet.
