Liked: the room was very clean. the staffs were very helpful and stand by 24hrs. location..location..location. it's a minute away to puerta del sol and plaza mayor.

Disliked: sometimes it's a bit noisy, either from the sounds of water pipe or upstairs/ downstairs neighbors renovating something. but that wasn't a big deal for me.

Liked: We had our own apartment - well worth the 10 euro extra. Came with kitchen, two bedrooms, 2 balconies, and fantastic view over the streets leading up to the Plaza Mayor. Perfect welcome to Madrid.

Disliked: It could do with some repainting in places, although the furniture was funky, and it was great for what we needed.

Liked: the location is absolutely perfect and the staff is very helpful, a room we got was nice and cozy

Disliked: the walls between the rooms are really thin and other guest were very noisy, even though we didnt hear anythnig from the street

Liked: The room we got was amazing, apart from the private bathroom and bedroom, there was a big livingroom with kitchen and a huge terass. Im not sure if all the twin ensuites are this nice, but ours was definitely worth the total of 40 € that we paid for it. Staff was very friendly and it is situated in the absolute center.

Disliked: nothing really, maybe a bit noisy but it's an old building, what do you expect.

Liked: Habiamos reservado el hotel por 4 dias. El personal encargado nos atendio muy bien y nos hicieron un upgrade especial y nos fuimos a una habitacion más grande y comoda. Esta perfectamente ubicado en el centro de la ciudad, y podiamos salir a comer y hacer shopping sin problemas a unas cuantas cuadras del hotel. Muy cerca esta la estación del Metro, y los principales atractivos de Madrid. Realmente un gran lugar para quedarse con un estupendo balance entre el costo y lo que ofrecen. Agua caliente, limpieza, comodidad, sin dudarlo volvería. En recepción siempre estaban dispuestos a ayudarnos y atendernos, el personal es de primera.

Liked: clean, secure, helpful staff

Disliked: Spent 15 more euros for an apartment hoping for a quiet night. The girls next door came home at midnight and proceeded to be very loud. We knocked on the wall to no avail. Knocked on their room door and talked to them but they continued to be loud until they decided to leave. In addition, they made rude comments even though we were polite to them. Apartments are three floors above the main hostel area so it is not in earshot of the staff and we were unable to figure out how to call them.

Liked: Felt very secure. Hostal was on second floor and needed three keys to get to your room-one for the front door, one for the door to the hostal, and one to your room. Very clean. Staff was very friendly. Location excellent.

Disliked: good use some earplugs for the noise

Liked: Very close to main tourist attractions.

Disliked: Small rooms. Limited help or intro to madrid until asked. Could rest your head on the wall in front of you when sat on the toilet.

Liked: It is very happily situated, great value for money and Emanuela from the reception is extremily nice! A very good option if you want to stay a minute from Sol.

Liked: It was extremely clean, especially the bathrooms, the staff were incredibly hlepful and friendly, and you couldn´t ask for a better location.

Disliked: Absolutely nothing

Liked: The staff were extremely helpful and upgraded me twice without charge.

Disliked: Some of the single rooms are tiny and do not have windows to the street. They can feel a little claustrophobic.

Liked: Good location, we got upgraded to an apartment and staff were helpful and friendly.

Disliked: The lift didn't go up to our floor which meant we had to carry our bags up and down the stairs.
