Liked: The room was amazing. It was clean and had great facilities. Use of wifi was great as well. Staff were very accomodating.

Disliked: breakfast offers in another reustorant which located 1km away from hostel. its far more than 1 metro station.

Liked: The location was the best. Walking to places, and having the metro and bus lines stops right around the corner. A Catholic church with an amazing moving figures in a large Nativity model was just around a corner, also.

Disliked: I felt like I had a room in a hospital near the nurses station. All night long, you could hear walking in the uncarpeted halls, echoing, and talking at the reception desk when someone came in.

Liked: Location and stuff in the morning, very friendly girls.

Disliked: Bathroom is really too tiny. Stuff at night (one guy) very rude and unhelpful.

Liked: it's really clean and newl then we really enjoyed and relax!!! staff are so kind and location is perfect for to stay madrid center. sure i'll back for next visit

Disliked: for secure ....easy key for room and a bit behind from main street so have to bring your importans always with you....only this...

Disliked: The neightbourhood is not the nicest.

Liked: Very good location, good price.

Disliked: Noise from the street. One furniture was taken away while we have been away(!), straff forgot to bring new towels one day...Not a very bright light in the room, such a tiny breakfast.

Liked: Its located in the center of Madrid close by Gran Via (and Gran Via metro station)

Disliked: Its very noisy at night (people on the street); street prostitution (but no molestation)

Liked: Excellent location, friendly staff and clean.

Disliked: The street Calle del Barco itself isn't too safe...I wouldn't recommend anyone to walk around on their own. However If you are in a group or stick to the main roads (Gran Via etc) its fine.

Liked: The location was very central but was still quiet and had a home-like feel. The beds were incredibly comfy!

Disliked: The WiFI was free but the signal was very weak. We had no hot water and therefore had very cold and unpleasant showers. Also, the rooms aren't very spacious, we were tripping over eachother all the time.

Disliked: Property was great for short stay but I would be even more happy paying 5euros more and have better breakfast included.

Liked: The Hostel is very good located and the staff is very friendly and helpfull!

Liked: Plenty of room with ensuite, modern decor and very clean. Quiet street but very central to city and easy access to Metro.

Disliked: The directions on the website were hard to follow as Calle Barco has a different name at Gran Via so the instructions didn't make sense. This would be very easy to change.

Liked: It was very close to the center. It was clean. The building was great. The staff was helpful. We had a private bathroom. The breakfast was in another place, some minutes walk, very nice to start the day.

Liked: Excellent location really clean and comfortable, looks new and well finished, great staff happy to help wifi and tv in room. Will be going back again

Disliked: it was a little bit noisy at times but considering all the postives, this is easily overlooked and didn't cause too much of a problem. This is down to other guests not the hostels fault.

Liked: Location was nice!

Disliked: WiFi speed was quite poor.

Liked: Location is great. Nearly at the center of everything. Everything is so clean. Decoration is simple but delightful.

Disliked: There is a bar next to this hostal. It was noisy on weekends. The shower easily get flooded. You have to take a 7 min walk to a cafe at Sol to have breakfast.

Liked: very nice room with own toilet and shower, free wifi...

Disliked: no AC, luckily it's fall so it was ok but I wouldnt stay here in the summer.
