Jamie ParsonsThe rooms were well decorated and the staff were warm and welcoming. The hostel is in a great location, though a little hard to find if you have forgotten the address as it is not advertised much. Also the wall to the corridor is very thin and noise traveled very easily through it, though there was not much noise when we were staying there. Overall we had a great stay and would recommend it to those seeking a respite from dorms. Kitchen would be nice but pizza just up the road is amazing. |

Customer reviewOur staying at Stadmadrid was fantastic!!! We had a blast! Our apartment was wonderfully decorated and very, very clean. The cleaning lady came every 2 days to clean it. The rooms were a little bit too small and we couldn't open the window but we didn't spend so much time in the room so it didn't bother us so much. :) Ricardo, who works in the hostel, was great! He gave us info about places to visit, party, everything. He was really, really nice! The location is also perfect, about 1 minute walk from Gran Via,but the hostel is located in the street where "ladies of the night" work. :) although we didn't have any problems.it's pretty safe. We will definitely stay here again next summer.I hope you will have as good time as we had staying at Stadmadrid! :) |

Pawel DebiecPros: Very friendly and helpful staff, clean and nicely decorated rooms (like in the pictures), towels changed every day. Excelent location, good value for money. Cons: Last two days of my stay I had some problems with WIFI connection in my room, but it could be temporary. Olso I think that fat people would have a problem with entering the shower - it is really small :) Generaly, very positive place. |

Customer reviewThis hostel was in a good central location in Madrid. Major sites and attractions were in walking distance, which was good. The hostel is located a few minutes off Gran Via (one of the city's major streets), but it is sort of near the red-light district. There are prostitutes on the street near the hostel but they were not that big of a deal. Ricardo (the owner of the hostel), was so nice and friendly and gave great recommendations for local restaurants and clubs to go to. The room was very clean and nice, the hostel also feels safe overall. WiFi is a plus. I would definitely stay here again and recommend this to other travelers. One main downside was that the bathroom is excessively tiny and a lot of noise can be heard at night from the street below, but I believe this to be typical of other lodging in the city as well. |

Customer reviewreally great location, just off the main street. rooms were cleaned everyday and we were given fresh towels. very private so no chance of meeting other guests so not great for meeting people but good for a quiet nights sleep. would recommend. if you´re a non smoker make sure you request a no smoking room. otherwise its great. |

Customer reviewQ!uiet. Clean. Friendly staff. Rooms look like they do in the photographs. Comfortable place to say. Only drawback: there is no common room, so no way to meet other travelers. But the hosts are working on that and plan to have a common room available sometime next year. |

Customer reviewStrange accommodation, loud at night, to close to other neighbors, didn't felt safe at night, too hot inside the bedroom. very hard to find, not enough directions on the website, not easy to get by public transportation. |

Lachlan Hay-HendryStaff are nice and the modern fitout is good, making the most of quite a small room. Location is excellent with most attractions in walking distance and subway close by. Wifi dropped out quite a lot as we were a few floors up from the reception. |

Customer reviewthe location was really good, walking distance to all the important places in madrid, also a great place to meet the local people rather than just other tourists. the staff was extremely helpful, provided us with very useful information on where to eat, go out, go shopping etc. |
