Liked: It was more of a hotel than a hostel - very clean, comfortable private rooms, quiet in spite of its central location. Although the surrounding area does host a few prostitutes the building feels very safe.

Liked: Stadmadrid is central and right near the Metro and I felt very safe in the area and in my room. The staff especially Ursula, Rich and Ursula's Mother are lovely! The room and bathroom was very clean and the bed was really comfortable. I would stay again.

Liked: Good location for those who are looking for fun (in the Chueca near surroundings)! The room was all new, clean and fun decoration. Very good private toilet and, surprisingly, we got a room with a small kitchen, which we were not expecting for this price.Very nice room for this kind of price!

Liked: Good value, renovated, clean, calm, central. Not sure about other rooms but mine was really small (just over the size of the bed). Would stay there again.

Liked: Extremely clean and tidy. Very nice building with an authentic feel to it. Building is in a prime location and everything is in walking distance from here! The staff went out of their way to help us and were very Helpful. Would definitely recommend this place toanyone.

Liked: I liked the hotel. Staff was very friendly and is so well located close to a good metro station. Directions can be better since it took me a while to find it. the neighborhood didn't look too nice at night but still was safe. Would stay there again for sure!

Liked: rooms really nice with towel swans when we arrived! Beds good and shower great. Didnt need anything else but dont think hostel has a kitchen or common room so prob not great for a longer stay. Overall nice helpful staff and great place to base yourself for a weekend stay.

Liked: The rooms were very clean, well-lit and comfortable. However, you MUST read the fine print on your check-in info: if you don't get in before 11pm to check in, you are stuck outside. Once you've checked in, you'll have keys and there is no curfew, but if you're getting in on a late flight or bus, EMAIL THEM FIRST to make sure they'll be able to stay up and check you in late. The area is very close to Gran Vía, Chueca and Sol, and the neighborhood is pretty safe. I'd give it the highest possible recommendation, as long as you make sure your check-in goes smoothly.

Liked: It is EXTREMELY nice and clean...it is a GREAT value for the money. On top of that the staff is the friendly i've come acrossed in Madrid...hands down. Even after getting rained on and being sick and exhausted just checking in and speaking with them was enough to cheer me up. Our receptionist saw us in the subway station and came over to us and asked us what we were doing and suggested places to go and helped us figure out how to get there. GREAT ROOMS, GREAT STAFF. HOWEVER, it is a hotel...not an actual hostel. So you do not have a kitchen and there is no common room so meeting new people is basically impossible. So it depends on what you want...a cheap nice hotel room? Yes. Party meet people type hostel? No.

Liked: Excellent location - just of Gran Via, the main shopping street in Madrid. And the airconditioning and wi-fi were a plus in the hot summer months. Rooms were very very clean, but since the rooms aren't shared, not a very good way to meet people.

Liked: The location is very good, in the heart of Madrid, the room is very clean, and most importantly staffs are very helpful. We booked a triple room but they change to apartment for 4 persons for us, really nice!! I would recommend to my friends for sure, and will stay there next time I went to Madrid:)
