Liked: Excellent location!! Easy to reach everywhere on foot. I read previous reviews about it being really loud but we didn't find this at all - had a nice sleep in every morning :) Rooms cleaned everyday.

Disliked: Room was very small but served its purpose. I wouldn't stay here if i wanted to meet people, we didn't see anyone else besides the manager Ricardo.

Disliked: If travelling on own, not the best to meet other people . Good if travelling in a group as private hotel like rooms.

Liked: Excellent service. Rooms & ensuite bathrooms were spacious and clean. We were very happy staying at this place.

Liked: Really nice rooms, the palace is old but well renovated, the furnishing is modern and pleasant, and I really loved the display of the towels on the bed laid out in the shape of two swans. The staff is really nice and helpful and the location is really good. I really recommend it!Ambienti molto carini, l'arredamento è moderno e di buon gusto, il palazzo è d'epoca ma ben ristrutturato. Ho apprezzato molto gli asciugamani piegati sul letto a forma di cigni. Lo staff è molto cordiale e disponibile, la collocazione è ottimale proprio in centro a Madrid. Lo consiglio davvero!

Liked: really nice rooms that each have their own character; great location right in the heart of the best bar and shopping districts, and only a few minutes' walk from the catchier tourist spots in the city center; friendly staff who are extremely helpful (and who even carried our bags up to our room while we were off exploring the city); and there's even a kitchen included in the room if you'd like to save money on eating out. great deal!

Disliked: no breakfast and no means to socialize with other hostel-goers.

Disliked: The zone is not very secure I wouldn't recommend to go back later than twelve.

Liked: Hands down the most cost efficient place i´ve ever stayed. Neet, clean great location and kind staff. The majority of hostels that you´ll find in Spain are old and very low maitnance, this one is not like that at all! Accor quality for an hostel value.

Liked: The location was splendid. Very close to the metro stations, food etc. As for me personally there were numerous catholic churches around this property that made it fantastic for me to attend masses. Convenient in EVERY sense. Highly recommended.

Liked: Hostel in a superb location off Gran Via and very quiet considering location. Staff were very nice and the room but clean and very comfortable but small. I would stay there again.

Liked: The hostel was fantastic but the only drawback was that we arrived on a very wet Madrid night, had 9 Spaniards with us and still walked past the place 4 times! It needs to be better signed but apart from that EVERYTHING else was terrific. So clean, huge ensuite, serviced daily, great staff, awesome location. We will definitely stay there again.

Liked: Great Location, a few seconds of Gran Via, Metro and Sol Square.Tooms 101/102/201/202 are to the street, hardly block the street noises at night. But others rooms are very silence, Free Wireless. Staff are great! Clean! RECOMMEND!

Liked: The place was fantastic! Close to many of the central areasand everyone here was more then happy to help us! In fact we werestaying 5 nights in Madrid however only had 3 nights booked with stadmadrid. We tried finding a place for the 2 nights but had no luck! Ricardo at stadmadrid found us a place instantly!!! In fact Ricardo also suggested great places to eat and party it up!! Thank you Ricardo!!! We had a great stay!!!!!
