Liked: Great location! Within walking distance to all major attractions/ museums/ sites.

Disliked: No alarm clock- but was able to purchase a cheap substitute nearby.

Liked: Clean private rooms in a great location. Manager is very sweet, but she only speaks Spanish. If you can speak some Spanish with her, you'll probably be able to get more helpful tourist information. No communal kitchen, fridge, microwave.

Liked: This place is very central as it's a few steps away from Metro Sol & Plaza Mayor. The accommodation is clean and good for the price. The managers are friendly and helpful. I've stayed there quite a few times and will continue to continue to stay there in the future. Air conditioning would be a plus.

Liked: Impolite staff, no knowlegde of another language than spanish, long black hair in the beds, dirty and very small bathroom-we didn't shower fearing we would have been dirtier than before-,no aircondition, as said in the discription! They most disgusting place I've ever stayed!!

Liked: The location is just perfect - no further than two minutes´ walk from Puerta del Sol or Plaza Mayor. We took a twin ensuite room for a four-day stopover in Madrid, which served as a base for one-day trips. The quality was good, the staff is very friendly and helpful, TV and wireless Internet are a definite plus. The only two points in the minus column would be the absence of an elevator (the hostel is on the 3rd floor) and the light folding bathroom door in the room. Overall a very good value and a great place to sleep, not so much for socializing though.

Liked: I arrived at the airport late at night having not previously booked a hotel but booking was easy and after being ripped off by the taxi (beware the hidden service charge, whatever that is!) I was warmly received by the owners who were extremely helpful with no English but were very lovely and patient . The bed was comfortable, the room clean and the bathroom down the hall clean also. In a very central part of Madrid I could walk to the Prado, Reiner Sophia and to the metro stop for the airport. Right opposite the hotel entrance was a lively cafe with some of the best local cuisine I have had in Spain... the hot chocolate and churros were to die for! A great start to my travels Spain.

Liked: Good value for money especially if you book it in advance. Great location although the hostel itself was on the 3rd or 4th floor (cant remember). Room was clean and very well maintained.The staff was very helpful and friendly. Even though they couldnt speak English, they still managed to get us a cab for 4 am in the morning!! superb :)

Liked: Very well located, rooms are small but comfortable and clean. It is also quiet enough to enjoy a good night of sleep. Don't go there for party or very long stay since there is no kitchen facility. Wireless internet works very well. Perfect for 2-3 days stop in Madrid
