Liked: The location was amazing! Perfect to be close to all of the main sites in Madrid. However, the walls are extremely thin and I had the worst night sleep here EVER! The people in the next room werent even talking loud, just having a conversation and we could hear every word. So, bring ear plugs!!

Liked: Great location- right behind San Miguel market. Very nice and helpful staff and clean big rooms with a terrace. Showers and towels were clean. All in all great experience/hostel!

Liked: It was a great sorprise to stay for 20€ in the heart of the centre of the city. I recommend to visit Latina neighbourhood and visit Mercado de San Miguel, in front of the hostel.

Liked: The single rooms have no widows whatsoever. The windows of my room opened into a common corridor of the building...with women chatting from one widow to the other for hours together. The walls were extremely thin so could hear everything loudly.

Liked: Big advantages were: great location(really great) and price.Big disadvantages were: noice from reception(specially for visitors situated in room 1) and from outside(Mercado San Miguel is used for fast drink at this place and people's noice/glass bottles disposal can disturb your rest till 2 am). I can recommend this place only for people not so sensitive about their rest time. Second disatvantage was lack of staff knoweledge of other languages(let say: english and german languages). Smiling, spanish talking people!

Liked: Very friendly staff, but without basic knowledge of Spanish it might have been a bit difficult.Our room was very beautiful, the showers and toilets perfectly clean.The location is simply great, in the centre, so we could walk everywhere, a cheap supermarket right next to it and a lovely market, too.We had a very nice stay!

Liked: It is a very nice hostel.Though the bathrooms are shared, everything was clean.Being next to the Plaza Mayor, it costs just 15 € per night.I liked it very much.
