Liked: location is excellent, at the foot of the san miguel market

Disliked: not clean: the walls were dirty and we found bugs in our bed and even cockroches. unless you are staying in madrid for one night only, i recomend you chose another hotel

Liked: 1. Perfect location in the center of Madrid. 2. Very cheap supermarket "dia" 5 meters from the hostel.3. Bathrooms were being cleaned often.4. Nice staff.5. Fan (helps especially during hot nights).6. Room with small balcony. Nice view, and enjoyable to sit there at late evening.

Disliked: 1. WI-FI was very often unavailable (can be restored 15 minutes after I asked the staff). 2. Bugs in bathrooms (even though there were cleaaned often). 3. Some of the rooms do not have windows. 4. Very noisy when the empties from nearby restaurant are being thrown out (happens quite often at night). 5. Doors. They might open if not closed carefully.

Liked: That´s a great place to meet madrid, because is too close of many turistic places around the hostal and is cheaper

Disliked: we got a room near to street and at night the garbage service is too noise because there are many bar´s en they throw the glases of wine and beer in some "contenedores" and all night you hear the crash of this bottles

Liked: I really liked the location- it is in the heart of Madrid. There was a Tv and Inet connections in the room. I was with my girlfriend and we had a private room.

Disliked: It was very very noisy. That was the only problem, but we could not sleep during the first night.

Liked: Good location for an overnight stop. Clean. Excellent for eating at the indoor market next door.

Disliked: Was quite a lot of noise from the street and market all night - but Spain had just won the quater-finals so I guess that could be a good enough reason

Liked: Super fast internet. Friendly staff. Nice bathroom.

Disliked: No kitchen. Very hot, because of the weak ventilator (no real arconditioning).

Liked: The location was perfect, the staff very nice and friendly, facilities just how you need it and clean at every time of the day/night ;) Gooood bed by the way!

Disliked: There was no common room, so no possibility to meet new people, but one step out of the door and on the streets you'll find enough people (locals) to meet.

Liked: The hostel was literally 2 minutes away from Plaza Mayor and other central things to see in Madrid. The price was very good value, and having shared bathrooms were not an issue at all. The place was also very nicely decorated.

Disliked: There wasn't much privacy, and the doors didn't seem very secure. The rooms were in desperate need of fans or air conditioning as it got very hot at night - no need for duvet covers at all! We were also looking onto a nearby market, and all night and day bottles were being dropped or emptied from the recycling bank - very noisy!!
