Liked: The property is right next to Mercado de San Miguel, which has the best food deals in Madrid. Great wifi speeds.

Disliked: Restrooms could've been a little bit cleaner and more upgraded. A common area would've been nice to mingle with other travelers, but the facility lacked one.

Liked: Good location. Good value for money.

Disliked: It smelled like feces the whole time we were there because they were fixing the canals.

Liked: Great location, very clean large rooms.Staff was so helpful they even carried our luggages to upstairs.

Disliked: The only problem was the noice outside. Beside the fact that they have great location (just few minutes away from sol, and plaza mayor - the center of the city) the outside ibecause there is a bar right across the street, it was noisy while one is sleeping

Liked: really good location, right next to Plaza Mayor & near most major attractions. It looks more like a hotel than hostel, bathrooms are big and very clean. Rooms might be a little bit small but it was also very clean.

Disliked: no lockers in the room. If you want to meet other travellers might not be the best place since there is no common room. staff doesn't speak english, but we could communicate using google translator.

Liked: I liked its location, the room was big and the whole hostal was very clean

Liked: It was very clean. And the location is perfect. The staff is very helpfulness, but the can not speak english.

Disliked: The service can`t speak english + We can`t speak spanish = the communication was exhausting, there is no lounge room and no kitchen (no kettle...)

Liked: The place is very near with square and it's very convenient. Can easily access restaurants and many shops to walk around also.

Liked: Midden in het centrum van Madrid, waardoor alle boeiende plaatsen, musea en monumenten binnen loopafstand bereikbaar zijn.

Disliked: Jammer dat er geen ontbijtgelegenheid is. Buurtlawaai.

Liked: I liked the fact it was near all the sights.

Disliked: Nothing really, but there is a rumour about bed bugs...but I didnl;t see any!

Liked: Great location, neat bathrooms. Cute room.

Disliked: We were just for one night there but the room was very hot and very noisy. Staff can't speak a word of English - literally - so the communication was extremely hard until we used Google translate which was funny. :)

Liked: The location is excellent. Go on the walking tour. Very nice girls running the walking tour and the night tour although it is indirectly associated with the hostel. Plaza de San Miguel market is right out front and is a really neat and busy food market with a lot of variety.

Disliked: The staff are very rude especially the girl that is usually there. They did not want to answer any questions. We were going to Morrocco for a few days and then returning and they refused to hold one of our bags even for a fee. At first they agreed to and then changed their minds the night before we were leaving. The room is tiny and brown and very noisy as there is a window at the top of the room with the hallway on the other side so you can hear everything going on.
