Liked: Loved that it was central to where I wanted to be in Madrid. The staff were friendly and helpful. The room was basic but clean and had all that I needed at a great price.

Disliked: The doors would automatically lock so that mean't everytime someone left their unit it sounded like they were slamming the door. If you were looking to sleep late this is not the place to do it.

Liked: great room, very clean with a good double bed and execellent shower even had a tv for some reason.

Disliked: key controled lighting took a second to figure out but does make sense.

Liked: Clean, great location, room was fairly big

Disliked: I got room 501, right next to the reception desk. This room is VERY noisy - you basically wake up whenever somebody comes to the reception. If you're offered that room - ASK FOR ANOTHER ONE!

Liked: My girlfriend and I wanted a place with a double room for one night in Madrid before I got my flight home. For this, it was perfect - just 2 blocks from the Puerte de Sol, so easy to get to with the metro. It was a nice room with everything we wanted. And even though it's on the fifth floor there is a lift so you don't have to lug your luggage up the stairs.

Disliked: If you're here to have a wild time and meet lots of people it's probably not the right hostel for you.

Liked: Good price for a single bed though the room was very small (it's enough when you only need a bed for the night ;) Very close to Sol

Disliked: Unpleasant staff. The fact that I felt completely misled by the pictures on the website, only to get there and see that the place is really a lot worse.

Liked: It's central location, the fact that it was clean and had every facility I required(including internet access). The staff were helpful(especially given my shocking lack of Spanish). There is always someone on the desk to ask questions of(if required).

Disliked: Nothing to gripe about(even though it is 5 storey's up, there is a lift).

Liked: Excellent location - 5min walk from everything that matters in Madrid -, very clean room with a lot of facilities, the staff was very kind and helpful, good value for money. I definitely recommend it!

Disliked: The room wasn't exactly as what appeared in the photos, but even so it was fairly good.

Liked: Located at fifth floor. No noice from cars (my room was not in front of the street)

Disliked: There was a hole in the coverbed, apparently caused by a cigarette. There is safe in the room but you have to pay each time 1 euro to re-open it.

Disliked: Noisy rooms - either from street below or the corridor noise which comes into the rooms easily, plus paper-thin walls.
