Liked: Friendly staff, great location, rooms cosy and shared facilities well planned. Easy to meet people if you want to.

Disliked: A bit noisy outside the rooms, couldn't lock our door from inside.

Liked: Hostel One was beautiful, the environment was great, and the facilities were excellent overall.

Disliked: The staff don't have a sense of urgency about fixing things... ie: Lockers, Fixtures.

Liked: location was great and the staff were always there to help

Disliked: Nothing at all! though if you are a light sleeper I wouldnt recommend it, luckily I am noth though!

Liked: The staff was incredibly helpful and the internet was free. The location was also fantastic.

Disliked: No elevator, though I was warned, and the staircase wasn't lit at night. The rooms were supposed to be locked, but nobody ever locked them after leaving. The lockers were too small to put the suitcases in, and the bathrooms were on the other side of the hostel. I had to walk past reception and the kitchen when I wanted to brush my teeth.

Liked: It was clean and looked relatively new. The facilities were great and the atmosphere was really relaxed.

Disliked: No free breakfast, that's about all I can moan about.

Liked: REALLY great atmosphere and staff!!!!!! in the evenings there is always some gathering around and meeting people. Internet is fast and free!

Disliked: well its a hostel, its only something for people who are not looking for great luxury or privacy.

Liked: Great atmosphere and a great location in the downtown. It´s definitely nice to see a modernized hostel in an old building. Tons of computers.

Disliked: No elevator! Seriously it´s on the third floor.

Liked: One of the best Hostels i have ever stayed at! in the best location right in the centre of Madrid. It has plently of bathroom and shower facilities for the amount of people it can sleep and it has a kitchen with everything you need in it. the staff were very friendly and helpful and the dorms were nice and small. would definately reccomend this hostel to everyone going to madrid!

Liked: In the heart of Madrid. A great common space and tons of computers for everyone.

Disliked: It did get very noisy at night, but nothing earplugs can't cure!

Liked: Nice and central and great cooking facilities

Disliked: The place needed aircon. The rooms that I stayed in had no windows and no aircon, and so it was really stuffy and hot. I was also shunted from room to room each night, which was a drag.

Liked: I like the friendliness and relaxing atmosphere. The hostel provided great service that makes me feel like I'm at home. Wonderful experience.

Disliked: If there are other people taking shower while I am taking shower, the hot water will be split among us; which means the water turns cold. That's the only thing I do not like about the hostel.

Liked: this is a dam good hostel liked every thing about it,so there is no lift big deal i would have thought that back packers good manage a few stairs anybody that complains about this hostel was born to complain. Sam Shetland

Liked: beatifull small hostel with kind staff and people. Situated perfectly for backpackers and very secure.

Disliked: the only thing we disliked were the small shower rooms whithout a shelf for the towel and clothes. it's hardly possible to take a shower and keep your clothes dry, which you have to put on the floor in front of the shower

Liked: central location very convenient. Honesty bar (beer in fridge - pay for what you drink). Plenty of computers for internet access.

Disliked: No breakfast. Room was broken into and roommates lost phones/laptops/cameras/passports, though in fairness, as it appears they failed to lock the door, it´s not really the hostel´s fault...

Liked: A lovely place with really friendly staff. The location is perfect and the atmosphere was really nice.

Disliked: Shower doors could do with a bit of attention but the showers were great. Lockers were provided but could be a little tougher.

Liked: Staff was helpful and attentive. There were rules in place to make sure people were respectful of guests sleeping, but they also had a great lounge area where people could hang out and chat

Disliked: The entrance into the hostel looks drabby and sketchy, but once you get into the space it looks great (love the paint colors)

Liked: Clean and spacious. Helpful and very friendly staff. Easy to meet people in the kitchen/ lounge areas. Great location. Definitely recommend.

Liked: It's really well situated in the centre of Madrid, the staff was really helpful and there was a friendly atmosphere. Internet access in the rooms on the 3rd floor.

Disliked: There was no lift, which is only an issue if you have a heavy suitccase like I did but shouldn't be a problem most of the time. It can get pretty noisy in the rooms giving onto the streets. Be careful, no breakfast!

Liked: excellent location. Very clean. very helpful staff. Free lockers. Good sized room (I stayed in 6bed dorm, good space).

Disliked: Minor detail: the shower cubicles had no ventilation so gets stuffy in there to get dressed after showering, also no bench space in shower to put all your stuff.
