Liked: central location

Disliked: too many people for the common area, noisy (but i guess that could be atmospheric), not so clean toilets, have to walk pass all common areas and reception to get to the toilet and showers, stuffy rooms (no A/C), very noisy even till 12 midnight (with people preparing to party)

Liked: Free use of computers and internet, and PERFECT LOCATION.

Disliked: The noise, although once quiet time, the staff made sure the environment was peaceful.

Liked: What a great hostel! Right in the centre of everything, staff were so friendly and helpful, very clean, great facilities, and cheap as well! One of the best hostels I've ever stayed in, cheers guys :)

Liked: The location was excellent. There is a big kitchen, enough bathrooms and shower rooms. It was very clean.

Disliked: The safety of the hostel is awful. Anyone can get inside, it is enough to ring the bell. 9 of my friends and I got robbed in 2 different rooms, including the things that were locked in a safety deposit box ( which u have to pay 10 euros). Obviously the thief did know his way around the hostel as it happened in the middle of the night with no one noticing it. And yes, this has happened a few times already in the last 6 months!!!

Liked: Great place to stay! Couldn't ask for a better location, the guys who work there are awesome, and it was a great place to meet people - feels more like a big share house than a hostel. Good kitchen facilities and all areas always very clean. Would absolutely recommend to stay here.

Liked: The guys who run this hostel are super great and helpful. The location is perfect, right in the middle of everything you need. The atmosphere there is very chill and it is easy to socialize.

Disliked: showers are far from the rooms

Liked: Can't say a bad word about this place, great location about 3 minutes walk from Sol metro, the beds were clean with rooms that weren't overcrowded. Fran was a great proprietor who answers any questions you have about Madrid.

Disliked: Moreso a tip - get in the showers early to get a 'fresh' one

Disliked: too noisy at night. dont tell people to be quiet eg from midnight individual keys not as gd as eg "laser" armband keys at others -means many dont lock room doors evert time! room lockers look prise open-able if some1 determined no basic breakfast like many similar

Liked: The staff that works there, specially the guys at the front desk are amazing, very nice, helpful, very friendly. THEY ARE GREAT PEOPLE.

Disliked: The room for 6 people is too small.

Liked: Very nice bathrooms and showers, even though you needed to pass by reception it wasnt an issue. Also the staff are very friendly and on one night even joined as out socialising after their shift had ended.

Disliked: New lockers are required dont seem the most secure and not the easiest place to find being in the middle of a very busy area of town.

Liked: Everything! Nice big rooms, friendly staff, great kitchen and common area. Very clean showers and toilets and amazing location. Air con, Wifi. I am coming back to this fantastic hostel!

Disliked: To get to the shower from my room you had to walk out, past reception, common area and kitchen. To make is amazing they could throw in towels for free.

Liked: Fun, friendly atmosphere, relaxed and laidback, but also considerate of some travellers' wish to sleep.

Disliked: Not a lot, sometimes the common area gets crowded, but really can't complain.

Liked: The staff here were really relaxed and friendly. There was no stinginess - wifi and desktop computers were free to use. Really good atmosphere and awesome location in the middle of Madrid.

Liked: All the staff are absolutely lovely and so welcoming - we even went on a night out drinking together when they finished work! They helped me with everything I wanted and needed, even with improving my Spanish. It's really easy to meet new people in this hostel and I was never alone. What's more many activities are nearby and advertised such as the free walking tour, pub crawls, tapas tour and even a civil war tour. I loved this hostel and experience so much and definitely recommend it.

Disliked: After having a shower, the space in order to get dressed is really small and still humid from the steam. What's more you have to walk in your towel or still wet in your clothes (difficult to dry off) past the kitchen, the common area and reception desk to get back into your room. This is the only problem everything else is great :D

Liked: Lots of space in the rooms and common room, great kitchen.

Disliked: The shower is a bit small so its hard to keep clothes dry. My friend saw staff eating food that was not theres out of the fridge
