Liked: clean, nice staff, good atmospher, nice common room, easy meeting people, perfect location

Disliked: there was no breakfast, just some instant coffee and tee you could cook good dinner, they had free spices and oil there was no place to safely put your bag, just a little locker, but locks on the door so

Liked: Very nicely located. Good kitchen, nice comfy beds. Lot of computers available to use.

Disliked: The hostel doesn't have a huge sign in the front that tells you what it is, you just have to follow the directions that they have listed and you will find it no problem.

Liked: I liked the decor and how clean it was... and it was a good proximity to all the central places in Madrid.

Disliked: The toilets and showers were a little far away and you had to walk past the common area to get to them... besides that it was a great place!

Liked: Excellent location just a short walk from Sol square. Staff were very helpful and willing to give suggestions on places to eat and go out. Rooms were clean and very comfortable. Free wifi and use of computers. Good kitchen facilities for self catering. Overall a great place to stay if going to Madrid!

Liked: Staff are very helpful and friendly, excellent location right near Puerta del Sol and Sol metro station, very nice comfortable hostel to stay in

Liked: Location is awesome.

Disliked: No oven in kitchen but im being picky. We had a good stay. If in Madrid don't do the pub crawl with Cat's Cave - we got ripped off. Go with New Europe, we heard very good reports from other travellers. Just a tip.

Liked: Everything was excellent. Well worth the price, they have a cleaner who seems to be constantly worthing, they have heaps of activities for tourists and the staff were really helpful.

Disliked: Nothing much. They're up three levels so it's a bit of a walk to get back up to your room but that just means good exercise!

Liked: The 8 bed room was really narrow, liked the 10 bed room a lot better. Much more space/better lockers.

Disliked: Hard to find, big brown door that is easy to miss. Unclean showers.

Liked: The property was right in the heart of Madrid, steps away from the Metro that can take you anywhere in the city. There are plenty of bathrooms and showers that you can use whenever you want. Free internet and computer usage as well as a communal kitchen to use. The staff was extremely friendly, helpful, and knowledgeable.

Disliked: The hostel doesn't have a huge sign in the front that tells you what it is, you just have to follow the directions that they have listed and you will find it no problem.

Liked: The location is perfect and the hostel comes with a kitchen, computers with internet, and a locker without having to pay extra.

Disliked: Towels costed money, but other than that nothing!

Liked: Communal dinner was a great way to meet people.

Disliked: It wasn't located in the centre of the city, but the metro was really close and cheap so it worked out fine.

Liked: The staff was great, the first night we were there one of the staff members took us out to the bar area and showed us where the best bars are. Definitely a party hostel, which was great. Location couldn't have gotten better, it is in the middle of a major shopping district and all of the bars are only a few blocks away.

Disliked: Hard to find. The hostel has a pretty sketchy entrance, so be sure to look for the 16 over the door that has graffiti on it. If you don't look for this you will never find it.

Disliked: LOTS OF PROBLEMS AT NIGHT THAT THE STAFF DID NOT SEEM INTERESTED IN ASSISTING WITH 1. SMOKING IN DORM AND NO SMOKE ALARMS 2 IN CONSIDERATE USE OF LIGHTS IN DORMS IN MIDDLE OF THE NIGHT AND NO SUPPORT FROM STAFF ON DUTY
