Liked: It's located in the city centre and it's close to the main attractions of Madrid. The hostel offers all the necessary facilities. The rooms are spacious, clean and comfortable. What's important, the hostel staff is very kind, friendly and always helpful. The hostel offers a lot of interesting activities to do during your free time. I think you won't find a better place to stay in Madrid.

Liked: Extremely friendly and welcoming staff, so helpful. Quiet hours enforced by staff. Nice computer room area and wifi. Nice lounge area downstairs and on main level. Great kitchen facilities. Decent breakfast with nice, strong coffee. Plenty of hot water. Bathrooms en-suite, and also lots of bathrooms on each floor. Fantastic location!!!!! Can walk to EVERYTHING! Great activities offered for guests i.e., walking tour, pub crawl, games, etc.

Disliked: It's a very typical hostel so your stay will also depend on who you get in your room and how clean and quiet they are. Hostel tried to keep things clean and quiet. Elevator was a little creepy and small.

Disliked: The desk guy should at least make you feel welcomed,not very rigid and always following the rules, showing friendly manners count a lot for the tired guest. well i guessed it´s in the middle of the night, and must have done a lot of the day´s job, but still being cheerful to guests is part of the job, at least

Liked: If you are looking for a basic hostel at a convenient location then this is the place for you. They have a lot of group outings.

Disliked: The noise level all night long. This is not a quiet hostel.

Liked: Second stay here so it can't be a bad place. Location is good with a metro very close so you can hop around the city easily enough and get to and from the airport and train stations. Central so walking to attractions is easy. Lots of activities to help you discover the city. Would recommend.

Disliked: Could do with new bunk beds as they are quite wobbly and squeaky.

Disliked: I liked the attention, they search that you feel well, they give you all the information for that you can distraction in the city, the breakfast is the best when you get up you breakfast to be here!

Liked: its location was perfectly central. the staff were very helpful and friendly the hostel is on 4 floors which means that if you're lucky enough to have a room on high, it's quieter

Liked: Nice staffs, wonderful night activities, very good location, you can walk to many sight spots and nightlife area, very close to the Metro station.

Liked: was located close enough to where I wanted to be. They also are hooked up with a couple other hostels for walking tour, pub crawl, etc.

Disliked: not the safest part of town, but the hostel seems safe enough and I had no problems.

Liked: Great atmosphere and helpfulness of staff. Great advance is the air conditioning in the rooms. On one of those sticky summer nights it is a blessing! Great location in the city center and close to a metro stop as well. Including breakfast this is great value for money!

Disliked: There was a queue for the bathrooms in the morning but this was just the 'morning rush hour'.

Liked: Great place to meet people and great organised activities, walking tour with Harriett is recommended as it gives you a great intor to Madrid, the pub crawl and tapas crawl are also a great way to make new friends. This place also has great internet facilities and lots of computers.

Disliked: The area nearby the metro station (near the hostel) is not so great but the hostel is safe.

Liked: Friendly staff, lots of activities on offer, free breakfast, wifi in reception and internet (6 computers), lounge with tv, cafeteria area by reception, air conditioning in room. Went on the walking tour, advertised as free however we were asked to tip the tour guide according to how well you felt she had done. We had harriet and were VERY VERY happy to tip her, her tour was informative and fun! We even wished it was longer than 3.5 hours! Would have preferred to have her on our pubcrawl! Very nice and friendly atmosphere.

Disliked: NOT ENOUGH BATHROOMS!!!! There were two for a corridor of around 20, one male and one female, although they were both the same layout - shower and toilet, we just used them both as if the gender signs aren't on there. It was a problem because everyone wanted a shower before breakfast and sightseeing.Went on the organised pub crawl and we did not enjoy it. Had to wait ages for the guy to get drinks, maybe coupons would be better. He treated us as if we were a burden, and he was not friendly, he preferred to talk about himself. The first place was giving out free shots to strangers anyway. The other drinks at the places were expensive. Did not like the popular dancepop music they had on. They were more bars than pubs so talking was very hard.

Liked: We stayed 3 night but because of flights and bus trips we never actually got a nights sleep in the bed - so we can not attest to sleeping there or how the breakfast is. That said, we liked the dorms with bathroom ensuite very much. They had individual lockers that we could put our on lock on. We don't travel with a computer so we enjoyed that they had 6 computers to use (for free!) that also had headsets for those that want to use Skype-type services. Good common areas - great kitchen, refridgerator to use, good music playing. Very close to metro and market to buy food. Easy to get to.

Disliked: A bit of noise from street from construction but I imagine that stops at night. Giant crowd of sketchy people hanging out by metro area at night - but we had no problems with them really. Ensuite dorms - toilet and shower are in same room so while someone is taking a leisurely shower, your bladder is suffering. I took advantage of a bathroom near the dining area for these emergency situations. We left 2 items behind and emailed the hostel but we never got a response from them. Didn't really like the art of the "muses" on the walls. I'm not a prude, I just want equal gender representation up on that wall.
