Liked: it is a fine adress now but we had a little bit breakdown because the kitchen was closed for 3 days!! Normaly we cook woth the students and now we must go out for dinner

Liked: athmosphere of the hostel is really good. the most important part is the kitchen' it is really huge and clean. no problem about the security' staff is so kind. the location is near to the main atractions of the madrid' you can take a free ttour.

Liked: The place is clean and everyone is very friendly. There is a kitchen you can use and also there is breakfast included in the price of the bed but do not expect something extraordinary - toasts, cereals, milk, coffee :) The location is perfect - at about the same distance from Puerta del Sol and the Prado and Reina Sofiá. :)

Disliked: Although there is free wi'fi, there are no stationary computers. There are personal lockers, but you have to bring your own locker.

Liked: Clean rooms, good socialising area, good size lockers, very friendly staff, excellent variety of tours and activities on offer (especially the walking tour and flamenco trip)

Disliked: Hard to find due to the lack of signs outside the hostel, area felt slightly unsafe at night, building under renovation so outside is dusty and noisy. Hostel is noisy at night from the street noise, but not much that can be done about that! Didn't like the lack of cubicle showers in the ladies, I'm not one for group showering!

Liked: Friendly and helpfull staff

Disliked: This place has serious security issues! The door to the street doesnt close properly and the door in the third floor is permanently open, so you can get to most of the room WITHOUT passing through reception! Very close to hostel is Plaza de Tirso de Molina which is a meetingpoint for all sorts of serious scumbags! On 3 mornings I saw opended and destroyed luggage on the Plaza, in one case even police discussing with a scumbag. As well in Las Musas an entire suitcase got stolen from a room at 5am while the guest was talking to the receptionist just a few steps away. These scumbags dont even care only for valuables but leave hosts with nothing but what they have on them. The entire area is infected with illegal activity and I cannot recommend staying there.

Liked: just a hostel, with nothing specific to like

Disliked: the elevator was old and small, there was only a wc for i dont know how many rooms, and it was not clean at all. the showers were common and you have to leave your staff outside.There was also noise from the other rooms

Liked: The location is awesome, near the city center. They provide really good facilities, kichen, internet free, tv room. The sketches of the previous owner, a architect guy, are amazing.

Disliked: I have nothing to say what I dislike. Everything is perfect for me

Liked: The best thing about this property was that it was only about 2 blocks to the nearest metro station, but this fact alone does not negate the inferior beds in the rooms.

Disliked: The staff was not friendly or helpful during the two days I stayed there. The primary objection is the squeaky, shaky bunk beds, which move around if anyone moves even a muscle. If anyone moves even a muscle, the entire bunk bed "shakes" a lot. I would not stay there again unless they put in different bunk beds which were not the flimsy, noisy bunk beds which are presently there. Rooms were also really tiny for four people and their luggage. There was not enough room at all either night, as there were four people in the room both nights.

Liked: Everything. The place was clean, the activities such as the tour and flamenco activity was really helpful! And the receptionists were REALLY helpful and REALLY cute!!!!

Liked: It was a really nice hostel. Value for money. Very basic breakfast but worth it. Close to main city centers and attractions. Plus, the staff was very helpful and friendly.

Disliked: Nothing really. It was a very good place to stay at.

Liked: The best thing about Las Musas was the staff, and Pablo on the walking tour was great! In fact, when I inquired about switching to a private room, the very nice English gentleman at the desk just switched the other people scheduled to arrive and stay in our room to be staying in a different room, making ours essentially private. That was cool! The hostel is kind of broken up between several floors, and lacks a real central social area, but it´s somewhat social. The men´s showers on the 3rd floor are combined, locker room style, with no separations. The walls are about thin, but the location´s great and the value was decent. The pub crawl was a good deal, too!

Disliked: Pretty much covered likes and dislikes in the above paragraph.

Liked: There was a free walking tour.

Disliked: The people running the hostel spoke poor English and the atmosphere just wasn't very fun. It was dark and grimmy and in a very sketchy location. I was traveling alone and felt very uncomfortable.

Liked: I liked the fact that staff were helpful and accomodating. They made my stay easier. Also my request for have a ticket left at the reception was met positively and on my arrival I go my ticket. Location of the hostal is great. You are a leisurely walk away from Old Madrid.

Disliked: I think dislike is too strong a word. An area of improvement might be the bed arrangements. My bed, bed 1 in room 2-2 was next to the main door and when sharing with 9 others was kind of hard ot get some sleep.

Liked: The staff were exceptionally open and friendly - on the events organised and in general in the hostel they helped create a relaxed and enjoyable atmosphere where it is to meet new people and always have things to do in the evenings

Disliked: the breakfast milk wasn't too good, the hallways were cold
